Why too much money make’s some stupid…a perfect example is the “Pretender” US Senator John Kerry

What is it about $$$ that makes the political class think they stand above you and me aka da little people?

Don’t they know WE know they steal our hard earned money to gorge themselves and their pals? Haven’t these supposedly smart thieves learned that WE da little people know how the political “donor” game works – Candidate: give me money, get me elected, once elected I’ll throw government contracts (the people’s $$$) your way, and then I’ll throw BIG fundraiser’s and you can give me a portion of my political generosity back to me. A win-win situation, eh? Or better, a solid private-public partnership!  So nothing to worry about…invest in me and I’ll double your money and if you’re a really good suck up, I’ll triple it…wink wink.

Big NEWS FLASH to the greedy politicians aka Board of Directors that pretend to give a rip about da little PEOPLE – YOU do not stand above ANYONE just because you’ve figured out how to steal OUR HARD EARNED MONEY and built a wall of “Rules of Procedures” so We the People can’t hold YOU accountable! 

Time for all of you politicans aka ”Pretenders” to wake up, because thanks to the 2008 DNC fraud, hundreds of thousands of us have awakened and we’re onto you and your petty”circular ponzi” schemes with OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

I for one am sick to death of being lied to again and again by these “Pretenders,” are you? Having all of the money in the world doesn’t make you smarter, a better representative OR a decent human being. Only those who lack something in their soul need to horde gobs of dough and demand more.

What kind of person does it take, who hordes $239 MILLION of personal wealth, to hold a fundraiser to celebrate 25 years in the US Senate “Ripping the People Off“??? There is only one kind and that is one whose hubris  blinds him resulting in a mushie brain unable to process reality.

And who might this be – hint:

well none other than the senior US Senator from Massachusetts, that’s who.  Rather than soliciting more dough this “Pretender” should be paying off the mortgages of those constituents his policies have bankrupted. 

Like I said, money doesn’t make you smart, and this “Pretender” serves as the perfect example of just how stupid, shallow and out of touch these congress critters have truly become!

From the Boston Herald “John Kerry: Deck MY halls” -

“Battle-weary Bay State Democrats are getting squeezed by U.S. Sen. John F. Kerry this Christmas, as the nation’s richest senator puts the arm on cash-strapped party donors to fill his campaign war chest — even though he’s not up for re-election for another four years.

“I think people feel very tapped-out,” said Phil Johnston, former Massachusetts Democratic Party chairman, who is helping to organize Kerry’s Dec. 13 gala. Johnston, who said he is seeing steady ticket sales, still expects a full house.

“It’s a measure of John Kerry’s strength among Democrats that this event should be hugely successful,” he said. (Ed. thinking out loud here, but I think it’s more a sign of how stupid they are!)

The state’s senior senator — recently ranked the nation’s richest with $2.7 million in his campaign coffers and an estimated net worth of $239 million — is asking fellow Democrats to open their wallets yet again after they dug deep during a hard-fought election year. His extravaganza at the Boston Symphony — where tickets range from $75 to $4,800 — could be a tough sell as the party’s rank-and-file struggles through another Christmas in a tough economy. (Ed. this Pretender hasn’t a clue of average people’s struggles!)(Emphasis added)

So let me see if I have this tawdry idiocy right – Pretender “Kerry” worth hundreds of millions MUST squeeze more money out of those who can’t afford to pay their mortgage, fill up their gas tank or put food on their table – OH WAIT, I forgot, the Pretender isn’t targeting you and me, da little people with this fundraiser.  Heaven’s NO, he’s targeting those who, like him, have already ripped off OUR MONEY to enrich themselves and must now return a portion of it, via ticket purchases, to the Pretender and his campaign coffers. After all, this IS  how it works now – donors remain beholden to the Don Pretenders at some point, aren’t they? 

But wait, there is more. One of us more financially well-off “little” people spoke words of wisdom -

“Kerry put up $85,000 in campaign cash to rent the 2,000-seat Boston Symphony, where Boston Pops maestro Keith Lockhart, singer James Taylor and actor-director Ben Affleck are expected to appear.

Boston University political professor Thomas Whalen said the extravagant blowout — meant to celebrate Kerry’s 25 years in the Senate and 45 years of public service — could be a turnoff to struggling Bay Staters. (Ed. YA THINK?)

“The symbolism really works against him, which is typical of Kerry,” Whalen said. “It doesn’t exactly portray him as a man of the people. He could inadvertently tick off a lot of supporters given that a lot of people are going through a tough time.” (Emphasis added)

This ticked off former Dem, had she received an invitation, would return it with regrets and a bunch of rocks! 

Which you think I would, as a former supporter, who housed his field staff for three months during his run for Prez in 2004. We opened our home to the Kerry campaign field staff. Initially, as the staff poured into the state, we housed one or two nighters as they awaited their assignments in other parts of the state.  A couple of them, great kids btw, stayed with us for the duration of the campaign – nearly three months – and the “Thank You” note was to the point – “Thank you for your support during the 2004 campaign” – yep, that’s what we got, a one liner. I was so appalled I threw it in the trash.

Heck, I even served as the Pretender’s guide when he came to Richmond to rally the base.

I digress for a moment, but a funny story.  As his guide, I hooked up with key members of his staff already in Richmond, and together, we drove out to the Richmond airport to pick him up. Honored by this assignment, I wanted to make a favorable impression, but that wasn’t in the cards. Apparently in my haste, I left my regular eyeglasses on the top of my car, which of course fell off the roof somewhere b/w my house and Kerry headquarters. All I had in the way of script glasses were my sunglasses which worked perfectly fine during the day, but not so much at night. Although I was not scheduled to drive him at night, I ended up having to b/c his driver was stuck on the tarmac out at the airport waiting for the Pretender’s wife, Ther-aaa-sa, to get ready for the evening’s dinner and dance. So, tag I’m it. 

After waiting outside the hotel for him and his entourage to be driven over to the Richmond Convention Center where the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner was being held, which btw was a mere 500′ from the hotel, which he’d happily have walked to, but oh no, his super smart arse kissers aka staffers didn’t want him to walk and get some fresh air, nope, he had to be driven.

So out comes the Pretender who hops in the front seat of the van while his staff gets settled into the back. Now, remember, I’m driving the van, it’s dark, I’m a complete stranger and I’m wearing sunglasses…LOL. As we pulled away from the hotel, I heard one of his staff ask quietly “why is she wearing sunglasses?” and they quietly chuckled…yep, I left an impression alright, just not the kind I wanted too…btw, I too was quietly chuckling. As I started driving the six-block ride to the Richmond Convention Center, the Pretender asks “where are we going? Last year when I was here it was a short walk to the Convention Center” of which his lead advance staff answered “Sir, we need to bring you in via the secured area”. The decision was for security purposes but c’mon, 500′? I didn’t buy it then and I don’t buy it now.

I’m confident the Pretender was thinking if only for a split second, is this strange woman who wears sunglasses at night kidnapping me? LOL. Honestly, I felt for the guy b/c nobody in that van explained to the Pretender the sunglasses were the only pair of glasses I had to SEE. Instead, they were mum and I damned sure wasn’t going to say anything!

But I digress so back to my pelting. From the same article -  

“Just last month, the CEO of Caritas Christi Health Care, Ralph de la Torre, hosted a $15,000-a-head fund-raiser at his West Newton home that reportedly reaped nearly $1 million for President Obama. (Ed. I’ll betcha a dollar no little people attended – just those who have been enriched kissing his ass ring)

Despite all that giving, Johnston believes loyal Democrats will pony up for Kerry, if only to discourage GOP challengers. Said Johnston: “He needs to replenish his campaign.” (Emphasis added)

I beg to differ with Johnston, this Pretender doesn’t need to “replenish his campaign” coffers. NO, instead, here’s my unsolicited advice -

You, sir, have had a twenty-five year free ride at the financial trough of the people’s hardwork, and you have more than amply enriched your personal coffers with OUR hard earned dough. It’s time for you, sir, to show your constituents, the little people, YOUR gratitude. I strongly suggest you eliminate the exhorbitant costs for attending your 25 year celebration of stealing from the people and opening every seat in the house to a people’s lottery, and you, sir, pay for the entire affair out of that obscene $239 MILLION you hold in your offshore accounts so as to avoid paying taxes. After you’ve shown your gratitude, you might want to consider paying your property taxes on that beautiful Sailboat -

 

currently moored at that private marina in Rhode Island. Once this is done, then I might strongly suggest you load it up with all that cash you and your donor list has stolen from we the people and sail off into the sunset never to return to the shores of America…that is unless a “real” court of law wants you back. And while you are at, sir, please take your heirs with you. I don’t think the nation, let alone the good and decent citizens of Mass, could possibly stand or afford another Kerry serving. This, sir, I believe is the greatest gift you could ever give to the entire nation and most importantly, to the good and decent citizens who have stood by you for 25 years. 

Like I said, I’m damned glad I didn’t get an invite! Rocks are all the Pretender would have received along with my regrets.

And you D’s wonder why so many of us have left the Party. No need to wonder anymore… we’re simply tired of the lies, more lies, and damned lies…btw, we keep leaving… in droves.
