TODAY Congress Will Try – By Secret Vote – to Retroactively Legalize Foreclosure Fraud and Forgery By the Big Banks … Call Congress and Say NO
As I’ve previously noted, forgery of mortgage documents is systematic and widespread. See this, this, this, this and this.
Yves Smith pointed out last month that congressional bill H.R. 3808 is an attempt to paper over rampant criminality by the big banks regarding forged mortgage documents:
We are seeing more recognition of the consequences of this [widespread problem] , which in more polite company might be called, “My dog ate your mortgage.”

One sighting (hat tip 4ClosureFraud) is the effort by the Ohio Secretary of State to enlist support against a proposed measure to allow for electronic notarizations. The Secretary hints strongly that this measure being put forward is directly related to the revelation of affidavit improprieties, which further suggests that the banks might regard this as a remedy for this particular, um, lapse:
H.R. 3808 is known as the “Interstate Recognition of Notarizations Act.” It passed the House under a suspension of the rules in April 2010. It requires federal and state courts to recognize any notarization that is lawful in the state where the notary is licensed. Now, in one day, it passed in the Senate.
When I learned of it last Thursday, it sounded innocuous to me, but then I started looking at the timing of the bill. GMAC, owned by Ally, had just suspended its foreclosure actions in 23 states, including Ohio. I had already referred Chase Home Finance, LLC, on August 23, 2010, to the U.S. Department of Justice, asking it to review and investigate Chase’s document notarization practices in home foreclosures (18,000 documents per month were being notarized by 8 people, along with other irregularities). I license notaries in the State of Ohio. Even though I don’t have the power under state law to investigate or prosecute, I couldn’t stand idly by without acting. That’s why I’m asking you to email or call the President at 202-456-1111 to ask him not to sign the bill.
Last Wednesday, the day before I announced the DOJ referral, JPMorgan Chase announced it was having third party counsel review its document procedures for foreclosures. Just two days before, the U.S. Senate had rushed through H.R. 3808. Something didn’t seem right. Since then others agree with me.
Yves here. This development reveals how this battle is likely to play out. Now that judges in some states are starting to take these dubious, potentially fraudulent measures seriously, the next line of attack is to get the more bought and paid for Federal government to intercede on behalf of the banks. As the e-mail by the Ohio Secretary shows, this is a state versus Federal rights issue. And the problem is that these solutions will be depicted as “efficient,” just as securitizations and other “innovations” were.

Diversion of the real news and the real issues by the mega blogging media outlets like Drudge and InfoWars, has become so obvious that a child can see right through their game.
You see, while Congress is preparing to screw the American public once again by passing legislation to forgive the “to big to fail banks” for their greed by fraudulently kicking citizens out of their homes using forged documents, these two bloggers are diverting their audiences attention to the TSA scanners…an invasion of privacy is more important to these two than an invasion of banksters fraudulently putting innocent homeowners on the streets!

I’ve been trying to look into who is at the top of the pyramid and figure out if there is some way of resolving the differences of opinion. It seems like Bob Chapman, who refers to them as the “illuminati,” and the larouchies, who refer the enemy as “the british Empire” (meaning the debt based monetary system that operates above nation states and is enslaving world through the system of privately owned central banks and IMF/World Bank and interlocking corporations), are similar in that they see the bankers (Rothschilds, Warburgs, Schiffs, etc) and the royals at the top. And based on the research Mike Piper and DBS have done, they both seem to see what we are dealing w/as a sort of “Rothschild octopus,” with the Rothschilds and other jewish banking families (Warburg, Schiff, etc) being at the top w/their control of the central banks and various interlocking corporations (I think Bill Still’s documentary “The Money Masters” comes to the same conclusion about the Rothchilds and the banksters). And I’m also pretty sure that DBS and Andrew Carrington Hitchcock (who wrote “Synagogue of Satan” about the history of the Rothchilds) have done research suggesting that over the centuries a lot of these jewish banking families have also married into the royal bloodline (so there’s a bit of a merger between royals and the banksters), which is consistent w/the example Leuren Moret talked about of Princess Diana’s mother being a Rothschild. I think Mike Piper has also referred to the British Empire as the Yiddish Empire, though I’m not sure if that’s b/c he sees the banking families as marrying into the royal bloodlines or just having influence over them. Anyway, it’s starting to look like there’s a lot of overlap between what all of these people are saying. I’ve found some interesting info on from David Icke and the larouche people on something called the “Club of Isles,” which apparently involves 3,000-5000 families that seem to be at the center of the power structure.

In addition to being large, impersonal, and top-heavy, what really worries critics is that the TSA has become dangerously ineffective. We Won! Bill to Retroactively Immunize Mortgage Fraud Defeated
A friend on the Hill just wrote me the following:
HR 3808 Veto Upheld
HR 3808 went down.
Most Democrats voted to uphold Obama’s veto. Nearly all Republicans voted to override Obama’s veto.
I’m somewhat surprised at the roll call, I hadn’t expected the Republicans to so overtly take this position.
Congratulations to everyone who called their congress members to demand that this blatant attempt to legalize mortgage fraud be defeated.

Just read about the journey with your mother. Whoa! What a story. A simple diagnostic test and a life is transformed…congratulations. Now you have this special chance to spend a different kind of time together where fears of a medical emergency does not prevail.
It’s such a blessing and transformation, venice. Mom’s always had a young heart, and now, it’s even younger. Everyday I get to see new steps. For example, Mom couldn’t turn over in bed w/o being out of breath and seeking oxygen, she couldn’t walk up or down steps, she couldn’t walk out to the mailbox to get her mail, but today, she’s slowly going up and down steps, walking to our mailbox now and sleeping soundly w/o losing her breath. It’s a true joy to be a part of and I’m looking forward to watching her take said baby steps when she’s ready. I’m not smothering only shadowing. It’s a gift I will treasure forever more.

IMO the kick backs won’t matter when the airports are empty and the airlines are bankrupt.

Bob explains the “big picture” of the market and the affects QE2 will have on the value of the dollar in such basic and understandable terms. He nails it, IMHO, when he teaches the readers in the above paragraph how keynesian economics work to enrich the wealthy while creating a barrier to those less fortunate to have their own advisors. I say this b/c the market has intentionally and deliberately kept metals earnings from growing all the while making sure every last federal note can be sucked out of the system to their advantage.

JJ – I couldn’t agree with you more. Why on earth would any domestic airport, let alone any airline believe their customers would succomb to this most invasive act on one’s privacy. Seems there’s no record of his being born in Hawaii’s hospitals, no doctors remember his birth in Hawaii, his REAL AFRICAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE has finally made it to the media, and they are having it authenticated.
