The Secret of Oz

Posted by helen

h/t to Tndoc -

Allow me to introduce you to the “Wizard of Oz” as Baum’s story was truly meant to be told. Mr. Baum lived through some of the more radical times of our true nation’s history. When I use the word “true” I mean not through the filters of the media empires exploitation or propaganda.

What you will learn in this award winning film is this, America has long struggled against the Central Bank owned and managed by the Rothschild’s is the financial empire raping all good peoples of the world of their wealth. It is time to cut the head off of this devouring snake. Today, I posted on the Chalkboard, as well as in the Cafe, a video of renowned Historian, Webster Tarpley, exposing to the American people France’s President, Sarkozy, calling for a tax on the banksters. Currently, these rascals PAY NO TAXES WHATSOEVER. When the Rothscild children grew to an age to understand the families business, they are awarded $4 Billion just to get started on their path to create mayhem such as inflation, deflation, double dips etc into all of the world’s financial markets. Imagine for just one moment what you and I would do with a $4 billion windfall. Yes, you and I, sovereign citizens would feed and clothe the hungry because we know in our souls it is the right thing to do. These fools, no, not so much, are instead deliberately taught to exploit we the people even more out of our wealth b/c they THINK WE ARE STUPID.

For the most part they are correct. Few wish to believe and accept the fact that our government leaders answer to those who wield power and right now it’s the bankers. Well, WE THE PEOPLE should be the one’s they fear, but somewhere in the last 20 to 40 years, WE THE PEOPLE were told we no longer held the power.

Conquer and divide is the banker’s twisted goal, and damned if I see much unity these days, so they are succeeding once again.

After watching this film, let’s talk about unifying and making sure these bastards never appear again in America.

And now for the award winning movie  – The Secret of Oz – this post is dedicated to Prairie, a regular poster here at The T-Room, an artist, a children’s book author, a poet, a mother of four boys and a wife to a fabulous mechanical engineer.

I just found this site while perusing Max Keiser’s site, and Looks like it has great info on it. This particular essay seems to have a good explanation for the current situation with central banks and gold. Interestingly enough Canada is doing far better than most – especially the United States – in so far as weathering the 2008 financial crisis.

    https://wealthcycles.com/blog/2010/09/24/gold-talks-who-listens

Also in this video (link below) – Part 1 – at about the 8:17 mark, begins Maloney’s excellent visual explanation of how the Fed and the Treasury create both debt and money out of nothing, and how we the taxpayer fit in. (BTW, he’s at a banker’s conference in Russia)

Check out what’s under the “Blogs” tab. He has a number of excellent essays in various categories. I recommend How the Federal Reserve Controls the World under the “currency” category. There are a number of good articles under the “debt” category, too.

Thanks for that link. I am well aware that Canada has fared better, but so has Australia, New Zealand, and I believe Switzerland. Interesting that the first three are British ruled, but not coincidental.

The most important sentence however is the last of the article. Where the U.S. leads, so shall Canada follow. It’s just a question of time.

Here in Canada, we have probably one of the best banking systems in the world, which has helped. I don’t think we’ll see the degree of the housing bubble, but real estate already in the large centres is beginning to decline. Unemployment, particularly in the manufacturing sector has been hit hard, and probable won’t recover very well. Unemployment in general is climbing.

Canada has raised its lending rate three times in the last 6 months (a good sign), but is scheduled to stay put at least until the spring (a bad sign). It’s been the only country in the world to raise its rates in this time frame. The Canadian and Aussie currency are among the strongest.

Canadians I think are more active in the gold market. If you noted, a link I offered was written by Jeff Neilsen who is Canadian and truly well versed in precious metals. He is a frequent author on Seeking Alpha.

I think Canadians have a sense of where we’re headed and it isn’t good.

Looks like oil and toxins have shown up in the Siesta Key area. My greatest fear is that the entire water treatment system serving the Greater Tampa Bay area is desalinated – meaning they pump their water in from the Gulf which is then desalinated through the treatment system. This system would not be set up to remove toxic chemicals such as corexit from the water. Possibly oil but not the microbes.

This is from a link Prairie posted below about Christopher Story. Read that last paragraph.

Re: Reader: ‘Remember – Tom Heneghan DISliked ….

Hobie, I came to be good friends with Mr. Story before his demise. A man respected and very responsible for exposing the financial war. He also exposed Heneghan and Wanta as criminals and not the good guys. Mr. Story also put the exposures in print and sent to countries across the globe. He would send me a complimentary copy on occasion at his own expense. A Christian man and loving poo poo as that is what his grandchildren reffered to him as. He is also responsible for Brits waking up to the afghan war being about resources and drug running.

If he was still alive he would be writing to expose Obama and his push to convert America into a muslim nation. Our country is in deep trouble and those men and women at http://www.republicoftheunitedstates.org will hopefully be ready to fill the void in governance to prevent a vacuum. The white hats did say that they would bankrupt the fed if they resisted. They resisted and Sept 30 2010 this goal HOPEFULLY will be achieved. The us military I hypothesize are on board with the restored America as they must see the direction Obama is leading America. For the military it is a new dawn. By that I mean if they allow Obama to continue leading America the us military will be dawning [sic] a light blue hat! What will happen in 7 days Hobie? Default of the Fed I can only pray to come to fruition and a new global financial system can kick off in unison!

after reading Joan Veon’s book, “The UN Global Straight Jacket,” and looking over this site for the upcoming march on D.C., can’t say it’s a good thing. After reading and researching more of Veon’s work, I’m * much * more sensitive to the words ‘peace,’ ‘one nation,’ and ‘disarmament.’ She shows how the final phase of the UN agenda of global government will be disarmament in the name of peace. These words are being used intentionally in an ambiguous manner. Remember what “O’s” alleged thesis was on? Nuclear disarmament.

I will share more on Veon’s views of this in the coming days. But…suffice it to say, I don’t think this march is innocent/benign. I could be wrong, though.

I found videos of real eye witnesses disproving the NTSB’s vantage point of entry of the alleged plane.
The lamp posts downed by the CIA, FBI? the night before?? they were NOT on the flight path according to eye witnesses and they even drew the flight paths on a picture!!!! —all match!!!! And two are police officers!!!!
Citgo employee(video CIA fudged so you can’t see anything on film), street cleaner, OMG…OMG..if you didn’t believe the lies before, you will now…I’m on #4 video.

Also more than one witness mentions the engine thrust right as the plane passes overhead—hmmmm…many say they saw a plane go OVER the Pentagon and leave, hence the engine thrust….
OMG…these are must see…police officers say they are 100% sure the flight path…one bets on his life.

OMG…OMG is all I can say. Also one witness is an aviator, yep, and he says there is no way that plane was going 460 MPH because it was in his line of sight for 13-18 seconds.

Kim – as long as their guidelines don’t stifle your goals then I’d say use their money to your advantage.

The Koch brothers are extreme, however, use this time of disinfo and confusion to your advantage. If it makes a difference in your particular area, and the delegate and/or senator you are targeting to be fired then my advice is go for it. Just be sure the guy/gal you are supporting is deserving. Do your fiduciary role and investigat them. Those in the game call it vetting or opposition research. Very important and critical to vet. If you don’t, and there is a skeleton in their closet, and it comes out, it will dramatically affect your credibility when his/her opponent starts to attack. Be careful and vet!

Actually, the stipulation for the grant is that no particular candidates are endorsed. Incredibly, just the core values of the tea party are promoted. It has to be a project and you have to have the support and the presence of the people in your group on the tea party website.

    Kim,

Just scanned my link. Darn, they’re only no. 24 on Forbes. I guess then the list refers to the top world billionaires.

Of course they will support the Tea Party. They, among others will crush Obama (look at the top of Drudge today) and will promote America’s capitalism. The only problem: it’s capitalism for the wealthiest, certainly not main street America.

    More smoke and mirrors, IMO.

    Morning, All

here is an interesting tidbit – remember Y2K? Veon writes there was never the threat we were all led to believe existed. (I’d heard back when it was a hoax – it was more than that) It was a massive project that, managed through the structure of the UN, was intended to “wire the world” setting the ‘tone’ for a cashless society, easier to control with global government. The nation-state barriers fell with this project. Total global cost was $600 billion. Total cost for the United States was $100 billion. Of course, as with any UN project, the wealthier countries pick up the tab for the lesser countries.

The other thing it did was open up the e-commerce business sector, that before didn’t exist. This included online trading and banking.

She also writes about the many “partnerships” that came about as a result of it – particularly the partnerships between government and corporations (NGO’s).

She was covering the 1999 Annual World Bank/IMF meeting in D.C. and said the fear of Y2K was a non-event. The “big boys” didn’t even bring it up. That was the tip off for her.

Maybe you all knew this and I’m behind. LOL Wouldn’t be the first time.

    JustMe,

Thanks for the Y2K hoax. I remember the great trepidation it created. But to take advantage of this knowledge, we should look askance at ALL fear inducing manoeuvres as covers for far more serious matters.

I know that this what you and others are all about on this blog. All of you have worked so hard to uncover the sinister
motives of the financial oligarchs, but the concept, as a concept can never be repeated enough because fear can be so immobilizing.

    Helen,

I found where I read about the “local to global” infrastructure that is being set up to achieve the UN’s agenda. It was in Veon’s book. It is why the US was divided up into 9 regions.

She says “the government we know will dissolve into “regional government” which pigtails into U.N. regional government, world religion, the World Trade Organization, a world army, or NATO.”

We know about the appointment earlier this year of the regional governors, with “O” having the ultimate authority over all. This fits in neatly with it all.

    Venice,

completely agree. I just want to help people see what’s right there in front of them. At least that is my hope.

Veon says upfront that her book wasn’t written to create fear, it was written to inform so that we may be bold. I like that!

She said the agenda of world government is so big, vast, deep and broad but once you understand the agenda, you can see all around you; it in your neighborhood, school, church, the newspapers and local, federal and international politics. She says, “it is so pervasive it stinks to high heaven.”

Concerning the Y2K hoax, Veon said since many foreign countries could barely afford the basics for their people, let alone spend monies on getting wired, a global problem had to be created to justify the repositioning of critical dollars. They even hired a couple of authors to write books on it.

We see this happening all the time, don’t we?! For example with oil – we have to reduce our consumption of oil because there isn’t enough. We know this is pure baloney. Well, after the gusher in the Gulf, it may well be a problem. LOL

Can’t forget the environmental movement alarm bells. Ugh! The more I read about this the more astounded I am that it’s gotten this far globally without someone exposing Prince Charles’ worship of Gaia as the driving force. I believe we need to be good stewards of the earth, but they are grabbing land and natural resources around the globe for their own purposes. I just ordered Veon’s other book, “Prince Charles, The Sustainable Prince” and hope to learn much more about it.

    Problem – Reaction – Solution.

It’s Official – The US Is A Police State
    By Paul Craig Roberts
    9-25-10

On September 24, Jason Ditz reported on Antiwar.com that “the FBI is confirming that this morning they began a number of raids against the homes of antiwar activists in Illinois, Minneapolis, Michigan, and North Carolina, claiming that they are ‘seeking evidence relating to activities concerning the material support of terrorism.’”

Now we know what Homeland Security (sic) secretary Janet Napolitano meant when she said on September 10: “The old view that ‘if we fight the terrorists abroad, we won’t have to fight them here’ is just that–the old view.” The new view, Napolitano said, is “to counter violent extremism right here at home.”

“Violent extremism” is one of those undefined police state terms that will mean whatever the government wants it to mean. In this morning’s FBI’s foray into the homes of American citizens of conscience, it means antiwar activists, whose activities are equated with “the material support of terrorism,” just as conservatives equated Vietnam era anti-war protesters with giving material support to communism.

Anti-war activist Mick Kelly whose home was raided, sees the FBI raids as harassment to intimidate those who organize war protests. I wonder if Kelly is under-estimating the threat. The FBI’s own words clearly indicate that the federal police agency and the judges who signed the warrants do not regard antiwar protesters as Americans exercising their Constitutional rights, but as unpatriotic elements offering material support to terrorism.

“Material support” is another of those undefined police state terms. In this context the term means that Americans who fail to believe their government’s lies and instead protest its policies, are supporting their government’s declared enemies and, thus, are not exercising their civil liberties but committing treason.

As this initial FBI foray is a softening up move to get the public accustomed to the idea that the real terrorists are their fellow citizens here at home, Kelly will get off this time. But next time the FBI will find emails on his computer from a “terrorist group” set up by the CIA that will incriminate him. Under the practices put in place by the Bush and Obama regimes, and approved by corrupt federal judges, protesters who have been compromised by fake terrorist groups can be declared “enemy combatants” and sent off to Egypt, Poland, or some other corrupt American puppet state–Canada perhaps–to be tortured until confession is forthcoming that antiwar protesters and, indeed, every critic of the US government, are on Osama bin Laden’s payroll.

Almost every Republican and conservative and, indeed, the majority of Americans will fall for this, only to find, later, that it is subversive to complain that their Social Security was cut in the interest of the war against Iran or some other demonized entity, or that they couldn’t have a Medicare operation because the wars in Central Asia and South America required the money.

Americans are the most gullible people who ever existed. They tend to support the government instead of the Constitution, and almost every Republican and conservative regards civil liberty as a coddling device that encourages criminals and terrorists.

The US media, highly concentrated in violation of the American principle of a diverse and independent media, will lend its support to the witch hunts that will close down all protests and independent thought in the US over the next few years. As the Nazi leader Joseph Goebbels said, “think of the press as a great keyboard on which the Government can play.”

An American Police State was inevitable once Americans let “their” government get away with 9/11. Americans are too gullible, too uneducated, and too jingoistic to remain a free people. As another Nazi leader Herman Goering said, ” The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. Tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peace-makers for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger.”

This is precisely what the Bush and Obama regimes have done. America, as people of my generation knew it, no longer exists.

    Yep, Helen

it is the unprecedented powers that FEMA has.

I was just reading through a timeline in Veon’s book right before you posted this. Timing is interesting. In 1998 Clinton issued Executive Order 13083 – Federalism – which redefines words like “state” so that it includes all types and levels of government, it changes “sovereign powers granted to the states” so that the federal agencies have control over the states and allows the president to declare a national emergency which gives FEMA the power to direct federal, state and local governments.

The FBI works directly with FEMA in these instances.

Now we know why the local police weren’t called first in this incident described in your above post.

    Way to go Mr. Bill….

    Helen,

remember earlier this year when “O” signed something ??? giving carte blanc to Interpol? Do you remember if that was an Ex Order or what?

The reason I’m asking is I’m wondering if Interpol works with the International Criminal Court that was set up in 1998. (looking like 1998 was a big year for the UN)

Veon writes about the ICC in her book. Says the ICC has the power to transcend the sovereignty of individual countries and arrest someone if, according to the claims of special interest groups, that person is guilty of a crime against humanity, a war crime, or genocide.

And…written within the ICC document is the process by which any individual can be deemed a terrorist. She says that NGOs have the power to go to the ICC present documentation, and have a person arrested. Who knew?!

Again, remember the ICC was just another move towards global government.

GORDON DUFF: AMERICA’S REAL ANTI-GOVERNMENT THREAT
September 25, 2010 posted by Gordon Duff · 42 Comments

FIND OUT WHO IS FINANCING AMERICA’S EXTREMIST “PATRIOTIC REVOLT?“

By Gordon Duff STAFF WRITER/Senior Editor

“However, an investigation of site ownership and client lists funding the “Patriotic Revolt” were not what we expected. The “patriots” that were going to replace the armed militia’s of the 1990′s were actually the Republican Party, their phony “think tanks” and the largest multi-national corporations in the world, representing defense, oil, insurance, big pharma, big tobacco and “clean coal,” a veritable “who’s who” of world class criminals.”

This week, FBI agents began storming locations throughout the Midwest, starting with Minneapolis and then Chicago. The purpose they claim was to stop peace groups that they allege are a danger to the American government’s war effort. However, the largest “official” domestic terrorist act was the bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal Building by individuals affiliated with, of all things, the Republican Party and the Michigan Militia. To be accurate, the Militia claims Timothy McVeigh wasn’t an “official” member but only attended meetings. It wasn’t his Militia efforts that made McVeigh a terrorist but rather his conservative politics and his tendency to act on rhetoric where others used common sense.
Thus far, we are rejecting evidence that McVeigh, a decorated war hero, was working as an FBI informant, despite considerable evidence to the fact.
In fact, the Michigan Militia disbanded with the Bush election claiming they were “no longer needed.” Seeing the FBI hunting down peace groups who were initially affiliated with the Obama campaign is a shock, no, it is more than a shock.

THIS IS LEGAL, “STOP THE WAR” IS NOT

    OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING (1995)
The “organs of state security” are now rounding up the supporters of the President and covering for groups that threaten our government with violence, some openly advocating armed rebellion and assassination. This is more than irrational and unbelievable.

    In fact, we are flabbergasted.
The moment Barak Obama was nominated for the presidency, “grass roots” groups sprung up around the country, surprisingly similar in make-up to the current Tea Party, not only in look but rhetoric and demeanor. When Obama easily defeated Senator McCain, those same groups, continual assassination threats, mock lynchings and vicious racial rhetoric changed from “conservatives” to “anti-government” radicals overnight.
But these weren’t “grass roots” organizations at all, but something far more sinister, more threatening and much more dangerous as we were to learn.

ANTI-GOVERNMENT THREAT FROM “CONSERVATIVE” WEBSITE, CORPORATE FUNDED
Websites sites like http://www.resistnet.com, oddly close to http://www.resist.com, the voice of the Aryan Nation, a white nationalist group, were quickly established and emails spread across the country, originating, as we were told, from the poor and downtrodden, the “Patriotic Resistance” that was going to shed its last drop of blood to protect America from wealthy corporations and the financial thieves who were sucking the blood out of the working classes. Every day we were told to prepare to resist a government “out of control,” one planning to disarm America, one waiting to put patriotic citizens in concentration camps run by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Administration) but controlled by the United Nations. Americans were told to “prepare.”

Even though every trace of those funding the violent and extremist views now presented as an “uprising” of “the people” against their own government have been professionally scoured by security operatives, the secret lists were secured and held in archive. The nation had been told by conservative talk show hosts employed by the major media outlets that all funding for such efforts came from the savings of individuals, workers, the unemployed, small farmers, clergy.
However, an investigation of site ownership and client lists funding the “Patriotic Revolt” were not what we expected. The “patriots” that were going to replace the armed militia’s of the 1990′s were actually the Republican Party, their phony “think tanks” and the largest multi-national corporations in the world, representing defense, oil, insurance, big pharma, big tobacco and “clean coal,” a veritable “who’s who” of world class criminals.
Now these same billionaire corporate bandits and “banksters” claim to be “intellectual force” behind the Tea Party movement. Can this new guise, another “lipstick on a pig” attempt to pass of America’s ruling classes as victims of “big government. fool the Tea Party? If Sarah Palin and Glen Beck, retread hucksters from another era are an indication, the answer may be a resounding “yes.”
Despite attempts to cleans the internet, removing the tracks leading back to the real face behind the “white supremest” mask of the “patriotic resistance,” we have managed to compile the following list:

    Helen,

I wonder how, if at all, the list of the corporations fit in with this from Veon….She wrote this back in 2004. It’s even more relevant today.

THE UNITED NATIONS FOSTERS A “UN OF CORPORATIONS”
    http://www.newswithviews.com/Veon/joan18.htm

The UN Millennium Summit – which was this past week in NY – was born in 2000. Significant, no?! Remember the purposes of Y2K I posted earlier? So we are 10 years into it and their goals are set for completion in 2015. This past week, they said they were on track. I believe that is why we have seen such a push in the first year and half of “O’s” admin. He is Queenie’s boy.

Here’s an excerpt from her article that is important to keep in mind. We have all heard this country is being run by the corporations, but we didn’t have – or at least I didn’t – exactly how that came about other than the obvious lobby groups and campaign donations. It’s far deeper than that.

    Excerpt:
At the UN several weeks ago, it appears that part of the 1988 diagram; a “UN of Corporations” is being put in place. Under the aegis of the “UN Global Compact” which has 1500 corporate members, about one third or 480 CEO’s met and discussed how they will proceed to incorporate the goals of the Compact in everyday activities. They were joined by key non-governmental organizations and financial organizations such as stock exchanges and mutual fund companies.

They are thinking globally and we MUST think globally about how all this is taking place. Yet, I see few that could even tell you what is going on at or with the U.N. They’re so focused on this nation.

    Venice,

I think he just reached his breaking point. We all have one no matter how thick skinned we have become or pretend to be. I didn’t read the thread started on Gretta Wire he referred to in his video, but evidently that was the tipping point. You read about this happening all the time to celebs, and for good reason. They are under the microscope constantly. I wouldn’t want that life for any amount of money. I value my privacy & inner peace much more than than. One of the celebs I’ve admired is Meryle Streep. She refused to live in Hollywood and was very choosey about her scripts. There are others who have opted for this as well, but Streep was a talent that I found amazing.

I wish him peace – especially inner peace. Unplugging will be a good start for him. But, as you say, Venice…they’ll be another adventure. He just needs recharging.

A good article giving reasons for the continued strength of commodities, though it is designed to give an overall picture only.

The copper index, a good barometer of the commodities market, is reflected in consumption by emerging markets, like the BRIC, again suggesting it is they who are leading the way in the precious metal market. No surprise there.

Because Soros gives money to and therefore strongly supports socialist aims, her election I think would be most welcome. Remember Soros brought down the Bank of England in 1992 and his ultimate aim is to redistribute wealth globally.

This is in marked contrast to the Republican leaning oligarchs who will not be happy with her election. Likewise they oppose the likes of Chavez, Castro, Ahmadinejad, and of course Kim Jong.

Economically Brazil is already poised very well to take be a world leader in oil production in the not too distant future. She of course will further the BRIC’s advancement economically.

I started digging after my mind wandered back to the meeting in Mexico earlier this year of leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean – The Rio Group. Remember the U.S. and Canada were not invited. I remembered it didn’t sit well with “O.” This group is working together to create a strong alliance independent of U.S. dictates and influence, as well as, being able to stave off a major impact to their current bustling economy from the economic collapse of the U.S.

Remember Brazil voted against sanctions on Iran – even after HellCAT made a stop over in Brazil to beg.

U.S. Nuclear Weapons Have Been Compromised by Unidentified Aerial Objects
    PR Newswire

    WASHINGTON, Sept. 15

Ex-military men say unknown intruders have monitored and even tampered with American nuclear missiles

Group to call on U.S. Government to reveal the facts

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Witness testimony from more than 120 former or retired military personnel points to an ongoing and alarming intervention by unidentified aerial objects at nuclear weapons sites, as recently as 2003. In some cases, several nuclear missiles simultaneously and inexplicably malfunctioned while a disc-shaped object silently hovered nearby. Six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man will break their silence about these events at the National Press Club and urge the government to publicly confirm their reality.

Great article using S.510 Codex Alimentarius as a benchmark of how federal laws are being made OUTSIDE of Congress that further blur the lines of national sovereignty. I’ve posted a bit here recently, as have others, as to how this is being achieved and at a rapid pace. While you may not care about this particular bill – though we all should – it will set another prescident and act to further strip us of our economic and civil liberties.

This article, written by an attorney, puts it into perspective how through the illegal use of unelected positions and executive orders, the once unimaginable is now being imagined.

    Excerpt:
“None of them appears alarmed by the fact that almost all federal laws are made not by Congress but by the unelected bureaucracy, transforming the United States from a republic into a bureaucratic oligarchy.”

“I would not be surprised in the least if the Obama Administration uses S. 510, Codex Alimentarius, as a basis for achieving through international agreement what could not pass in Congress—a harmonization to some as yet unknown degree of American law with EU law, imposing here draconian restrictions and censorship not politically possible by act of Congress.”

This is the clearest most succinct definition I’ve seen yet on bonds being placed on Americans –

    Bond Servant
To cover the debt in 1933 and future debt, the corporate government determined and established the value of the future labor of each individual in its jurisdiction to be $630,000. A bond of $630,000 is set on each Certificate of Live Birth. The certificates are bundled together into sets and then placed as securities on the open market. These certificates are then purchased by the Federal Reserve and/or foreign bankers. The purchaser is the “holder” of “Title.” This process made each and every person in this jurisdiction a bond servant.

THAT MEANS THAT THE TRILLION is US THE PEOPLE BEING TRADED.

Only by separating yourself from the straw-man you will be able to vindicate your part.

Here’s my thoughts on the deaths of 9/11 responders…I think to have taken all those 70+ stories of those bldgs. and pulverized them to dust–took a Tesla invention–and that dust contained asbestos already reported in those walls, floors, ceilings to have been ordered removed.
Those heroes breathed in all that air for days filled with nano-particles of asbestos.

Yes, JJ, that is known as peer pressure. Used to teach kids when doing drug ed how to recognize peer pressure and how to say no w/o feeling like the outsider. I would work with mom’s in particular to sit down and teach their child the physiological consequences of using chemicals of any kind and their long term effects on their brain development. Kids aren’t stupid. Put the facts in front of them, not scare tactics, but the facts and it’s amazing how their decision making kicks in. Once mom felt the child heard her, she’d ask the child to sign a simple agreement b/w the two of them – and one of the things mom had to agree to was to be the fall guy. So, when a child went to a party and there were drugs and the child was feeling pressure to use, she was instructed to call mom and use a code word like “banana” or “grandma” and that was code for mom to be the heavy and go pick her child up. This way the teen could save face with her friends and blame everything on mom. It worked and many mom’s I worked with over those years raised their kids free from chemicals. Our sole goal was to delay the onset of first use as long as we could b/c we knew the child would fall for the temptation eventually OR remain clean forever. Either way, we got the kid to full maturation to make the decision of use for themselves.

So, yeah, what you describe so beautifully is what I’d define as peer pressure.

    Helen,

I don’t know if you’ve had a chance to read either of the two articles I mentioned in one of my posts above concerning the British, CIA and Muslim Brotherhood (and Israel). It’s really an interesting read. Both factions used the Muslim Brotherhood as an ally during their fight to control Egypt, the Suez Canal and the oil supply in the Middle East, not to mention the overthrow of the regime in Iran.

The Suez Crisis of 1956 is considered one of the most important events of the Cold War era, believe it or not.

The British and the U.S. used (funded) the Muslim Brotherhood, which by the way was/is described as being a secret society much like the Masons.

There are two articles well worth the read to gain an historical perspective on the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood courtesy of CIA and British, and brings us into present day. (I’m still reading these)

    Prairie,

not sure I’m following you on the frustrations of last night…but the article you posted the link to on corporations is spot on.

We say the corporations have taken over, but the big mystery was how, when did that happen. We can say through their influential advertising dollars, but that is only part of it. The UN’s free trade agreements have played a huge role in this, too. Save that for another time.

We need only look back to the Clinton administration and can thank Bill Clinton and Al Gore for their plan to “reinvent government.” What we are seeing now is the result of that door he so graciously opened to sell this country out.

In Clinton’s speech during his run for the White House he talked about his plan,on March 3, 1994. Did any of us know what that really meant? Kinda like the hope and change approach. We just know that we are all desperate for something different – hence the “hook” from the buzz words change from “O” and redesign/reinvent from Clinton.

Quote from his speech, “We intend to redesign to reinvent, to reinvigorate the entire national government.”

On December 18, 1994, Clinton asked Gore to “reinvent government.” In his State of the Union address in January 1995, Clinton announced a “New Covenant.” Veon writes that in his speech he basically outlines the change is from a centralized, top-down form of constitutional government to a decentralized, bottom-up approach, with power being shifted to the community. (this is the local to global) Further it would be changed by partnering, i.e., public-private partnerships. What he didn’t say is that this change is part of Prince Charles’ Agenda 21, which is the UN agenda for sustainable development and democracy.

So, this new form of government is based on partnership–public-private partnerships, which is a marriage between government, business and non-governmental organizations (NGO’s). Veon is spot on when she says in the old days this was known as fascism. She goes on to say, “this form has been replacing representative government, and has rendered politicians as nothing more than paper pushers. We all know this, don’t we?! This is while the multi-national and transnational corporations use their deep pockets to fund projects which heretofore had been the responsibility of country, local, municipal, state and federal governments.”

My frustration last night at CW was the defense of republicans, defense of Clintons, defense of the silence. This is what I just posted today:

The divide we are witnessing in our country is not left and right, it is not republican vs democrat… it is the individual vs. the corporation. Both political parties are more fearful of lobbyists and corporations than of the electorate. It is money from big corporations and foreign interests that are stealing our elections. It is legislation passed by both republicans and democrats that benefit the corporation vs. the individual. It is both parties who have thrown the constitution aside standing by as an usurper took office, voting for the bailouts, and witnessing the death of our country.

They are desperate to reign in the Tea Party. The r’s through money and infiltration, the d’s through ridicule and threat. They know we are onto their game. They know the paradign is shifting. They know there days are numbered and are going to lash out in dangerous, deadly ways to maintain the 2 party illusion.

Simply this… the 2 party system is the pen they keep us in. The 2 party system defines our boundaries, defines our choices, defines our masters. It is time America’s unbridled spirit rises… may hooves that pound like thunder trample on the illusion of the elites! May we buck them off our backs and control our own destiny for once. My God, quit defending a party that has sold you out and penned you in their barn! Forgiveness for those who repent? Hell, no. Hold Hillary, Bush, McCain and all responsible for the tragedy we are living and the chains they have left for our children. I am not a republican, not a democrat, not even an independant… I AM AN INDIVIDUAL!

    Prairie,

well said. I agree with you. When you start arguing D’s vs R’s you’ve already divided the listening audience and the focus will shift from what the conversation is really about to the political parties. We don’t have a two party system any longer – if we ever did. It’s just something to keep everyone busy while we slip further and further into the UN abyss.

I’ve posted several things about the UN over at CW’s recently – no response. Not even one. But, it’s there in black and white for all to see – every question answered that we’ve been scratching our heads over, Veon answers in her articles, books, and videos.

The UN is the governmental structure we are dealing with now and we need to shift our focus on that body & happenings within in order to see how we can get out from under the death grip they have. Voting ‘em out will not change a thing if the new comers aren’t UN savvy. This is where Ron Paul excels…he is light years ahead of most on the UN and their agenda.

Then…we still have our Zionist issues, which play into this, as well.

    Good morning,

I wept last night after watching Larry’s video. When looking at his video you could tell he was in a hotel room and we know he left DC. Just didn’t know in what direction he was heading in. Luray is beautiful country. It’s in the foothills of the Shenandoah. Good and decent souls dwell there so I’m sure he’s being taken care of. JM, this is also the area Eustace lived before he passed.

I pray his soul has already begun to heal. What these people have done to him is beyond words. It is all a tragedy and in so many ways.

But Larry is strong willed. It’s how he got here. Without a change in direction, he’s at great risk of trying again. My guess is that he will be very annoyed, should he wake up, that anyone intervened. Let’s hope this will give him another chance. He certainly deserves it.

Let’s hope while being annoyed, he’ll be able to feel the arms embracing him this time. He truly deserves nothing less. I pray.

Not only that, think of hhe money pushed around and whose pocket it ends up in.

    This also needs addressing:

    Congress’s opinion:
‘We talk to many people on Capitol Hill who do believe poverty is important and is a blight on our nation, but we are also up against a general recognition that poor people don’t vote in great numbers. And they certainly aren’t going to be making campaign contributions. That definitely puts them behind many other people and interests when decisions are being made around here.’”

Sadly, they are speaking of me…but I do vote…when we the people realize this is how they view us, maybe the only donations will come from the ‘corporations’ and we can start a new country for the ‘little people’ like the Amish and Mennonites??

This is one of those times I need to share other info with y’all that comes from a subscribed service, Benjamin Fulfords. If we weren’t in the pickle we’re in and information like this serves folks to make necessary decisions then I’d never post his work verbatim. Here is his recent geopolitical post –

The world is heading for an unprecedented period of global geopolitical turbulence as the clock ticks on the bankruptcy of the Federal Reserve Board crime syndicate. The signs include: the resignation of most of the real powers in the Obama administration, the dispatch of a large Council on Foreign Relations brown-nosing squad to China, the removal of Queen Elizabeth’s control over her own finances, a power struggle in China, North Korea and Japan, mass riots in Europe, regime change in Brazil, etc. There also now conflicting signs as to whether or not the Amero will go ahead as planned with some sources saying they only have 12% of the gold they need to back it while other sources say “it is a done deal.” All in all, this is going to be an interesting week as we wait to see how the Feds hope to get past the September 30th fiscal year end.

The situation is most turbulent in the United States and the signs of imminent regime change there are impossible to ignore. First of all there has been the announcement of mass resignations from the Obama cabinet, like rats deserting a sinking ship. Among the many who have announced they are leaving are: Chief of Staff and top US Mossad Agent Rahm Emmanuel, National Security Adviser James Jones, Chief Economic Adiser (and architect of the current financial disaster) Lawrence Summers and Senior Adviser David Axelrod. Another sign of chaos is the statement by former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Paul Volcker that the “financial system is broken,” and the fact that this statement was quoted by the New York Times propaganda outlet.

We also have the spectacle of Chinese Premier Wen Jiaobao being wooed and flattered and promised the world by the Council on Foreign Relations in New York even as other CFR heavyweights like Zbigniew (easier to kill a million than control a million) Brzezinski fly to China on last minute brown-nosing missions.

Senior CIA sources continue to say the Federal Reserve Board is history and that the Pentagon, probably under Defense Secretary Robert Gates, will form an interim government.

However, one senior source connected to the BIS and the banksters says all of this is posturing in preparation for a major banker power grab aimed at reducing the world’s currencies to a centrally controlled 10. These would be the Euro, the Amero, the Ruble, the Indian Rupi, the Yen, the Chinese Yuan, a South American currency, an African currency, an ASEAN and Australian currency and a Middle Eastern currency.

There are signs the Amero is imminent, including the building of a wall separating Mexico and South America (on the Guatemalan border) and the recent efforts to achieve parity between the US, Mexican and Canadian currencies.

However, a source in the gold owning faction of the Rothschild family says the Amero plan is not working because the Feds have only been able to get 12% of the gold they need to back the Amero as a replacement for the US dollar. “They have been taking whatever gold they can get and leveraging it hundreds of times before putting it on their books,” the source says. The result is a huge loss of trust.

The Euro is also looking shaky again. The Euro suffers from its inability to correct for economic imbalances in the Euro-zone. The Mediterranean and Baltic states, as well as Ireland need to devaluate their currencies by 30% in order to remain competitive against the Germans and the Nordic states. What the speculators are doing these days is lending money to deadbeats like the Greeks knowing that even though they can never personally pay the money back, their rich German uncle will step in. The Rothschild source predicts the Euro will not last past March or Perhaps June of next year.

In the meantime, riots are scheduled throughout Europe this week in a sign the masses are waking up and getting fed up with bankster nonsense.

The power struggle in North East Asia is also heating up. The meeting this week in North Korea is a battle between China and the Americans over Asia. The Americans have been selling themselves as a force that will protect Asia, including Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan etc. against Chinese domination. The military establishments of these countries have had long friendly and extensive contact with their counter-parties in the Pentagon and these friendly relations are expected to continue even after the Federal Reserve Board goes bankrupt. Nonetheless, the Federal Reserve Board stooges in Japan and Korea will be ousted according to multiple sources in the Japanese and Korean secret governments.

In China there are also reports of a behind the scenes power struggle. One sign of this is that new sources have approached us with important “news” about China. One source says Premier Wen Jiaobao’s son got money from the Carlyle hedge fund and that Wen is a George Bush Senior puppet. Whatever the truth of that (we simply cannot fully confirm), Wen was clearly put on prominent display at the CFR last week. Then another source (working for Rupert Murdoch) tells us that Chinese President Hu Jintao is a member of the Sokka Gakkai Buddhist cult. Since that is controlled by North Korean agent Son Tae Chuck (Japanese name Daisaku Ikeda) that would make Hu an Illuminati agent. However, I am suspicious of both of these sources and think they may simply be trying to feed me information that will enrage the Chinese and make them lose confidence in my information.

The battle for control of North Korea is also set to reach a climax this week with the US and their South Korean puppets battling against the Chinese and their North Korean allies for control of that Federal Reserve Board rogue state.

South America, meanwhile, continues to separate itself from Fed control with the imminent election of a former Female guerrilla as president.

The fact that only 27 European countries, Australia and Costa Rica walked out of Iranian President Ahmadinejad’s speech accusing the US government of orchestrating 911 shows just how small a rump of countries the banksters now fully control. It is interesting to note the Japanese representative did not walk out. I once handed a book about 911 truth to now Prime Minister Kan and he said to me “yes I know but what do you expect me to be able to do about it?” He could start by forcing the Japanese media to tell the truth.

Many people in the US secret establishment have decided to wait for the $1 trillion lawsuit against the OITC, the UN and Davos etc. to go ahead so that the Western satanic cabal may be removed by legal and open means. These lawsuits and court cases will go ahead despite the intimidation and suspicious death of lawyers and other involved. The legal procedures are grinding forward slowly but surely and all the I’s are being dotted and T’s crossed to make sure the lawsuit and criminal charges will stand up in court.

I agree, we are far into it – the PPP – However, we have to educate folks about the importance of what these are and how they have taken over government assets. We have to create an awareness, generate a “buzz” as they say. Like with the b/c -nbc issue. He was already elected, but the education continues.

If we hear any politician opting for a public-private partnership we scream. On the local level you watch what your city councils are doing. Educate them, too. I’ll guarantee you many probably aren’t even aware especially in the smaller communities. I plan on sending one of Veon’s books to each member here.

You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of

imagination — Next stop, the Twilight Zone.
    —Rod Serling

There is an obscure Air Force term relating to a moment when a plane is coming down on approach and a pilot cannot see the horizon. It’s called The Twilight

Zone. For a writer searching for his voice in the midst of corporate conservatism during the late 1950’s, the creative horizon seemed elusive at best.

Television, although still a youthful medium, had begun to stumble and fall, succumbing to the pressures of financial backing and sponsorship in order to

survive its early growing pains. Navigating a successful career through a cloak of fear and indecision became problematic for a young writer struggling to

    remain relevant.

In 1958, CBS bought Serling’s teleplay, “The Time Element,” which he hoped would be the pilot to his weekly series. The story was about a bartender who keeps

waking up in Pearl Harbor knowing the Japanese will be attacking the next day but unable to convince anyone he’s telling the truth.
The story aired on Nov. 24, 1958, and became the Westinghouse series’ biggest hit.

Respectfully submitted for your perusal: a Kanamit. Height: a little over nine feet. Weight: in the neighborhood of three hundred and fifty pounds. Origin:

unknown. Motives? Therein hangs the tale, for in just a moment we’re going to ask you to shake hands, figuratively, with a Christopher Columbus from another

galaxy and another time. This is the Twilight Zone. ”

    [edit] Synopsis
The Kanamits, a race of aliens, land on Earth and promise to be helpful to the cause of humanity. Initially wary of the intentions of such a highly-advanced

race, even the most skeptical humans are convinced when their code-breakers begin to translate one of the Kanamit books with the seemingly innocuous title,

To Serve Man. The code-breaker staff is led by Mr. Michael Chambers.

Sharing their advanced technology, the aliens are quickly able to solve all of Earth’s greatest woes, eradicating hunger, disease, and the need for warfare.

They even morph deserts into big blooming fields. Soon, humans are volunteering for trips to the Kanamit’s home planet, which is supposedly a paradise.

Everything takes a turn for the worse, however, when Pat, a code-breaker, discovers the Kanamits’ true intentions. She shouts the agonized warning to

Chambers, who is about to climb the Kanamit spaceship’s boarding stairs: “Mr. Chambers, don’t get on that ship! The book… To Serve Man. It… it’s a

cookbook!” Chambers tries to get away from the spaceship, but a Kanamit pushes him into it, and it promptly takes off for the aliens’ home planet.

In the end, Mr. Chambers (who’s been narrating the story in flashback) is aboard the Kanamit spaceship, heading for their planet and eventual consumption.

The book, To Serve Man, is actually a cookbook, and all the aliens’ gifts were subtle methods of causing humans to be put in peak condition, gain weight and

become complacent, much like fattening pigs, chickens, or cows before they’re shipped to a slaughterhouse. Chambers says to the audience, “How about you? You

still on Earth, or on the ship with me? Really doesn’t make very much difference, because sooner or later, we’ll all of us be on the menu…all of us.” The

episode closes on him as he finally breaks his hunger strike.

Evolution of man, the cycle of going from dust to dessert, the metamorphosis from being the ruler of a planet to an ingredient in someone’s soup.

    Military service
As editor of his high school newspaper, Serling tried to persuade his fellow students to support the war effort in a variety of ways. He wanted to leave

school before graduation to join the fight, but his civics teacher talked him into staying through graduation. “War is a temporal thing,” Gus Youngstrom told

an eager Serling, “It ends. An education doesn’t. Without your degree, where will you be after the war?”[15] Serling enlisted into the U.S. Army the morning

after his high school graduation, following brother Robert.[16]

Serling began his military career at Camp Toccoa, Georgia under General Raymond Swing and Col. Orin D. “Hard Rock” Haugen [17] and served in the 511th

Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 11th Airborne Division.

April 25, 1944 was the day Serling had been looking forward to: the day he received his overseas orders. When he saw that he was headed west, through

California, he knew he was headed to fight the Japanese rather than the Germans. He was disappointed; as a Jew, he had hoped to have a hand in combating

Hitler.[21] On May 5, the division boarded the USS Sea Pike and headed into the Pacific, ending up in New Guinea, where they would be held in reserve for a

    few more months.

Serling’s time in Leyte would shape his writing and his political views for the rest of his life. He witnessed death every day while in the Philippines, both

at the hands of the enemy and through random events such as those that killed another extroverted Jewish private named Melvin Levy. Levy was in the middle of

a comic monologue as the platoon sat resting under a palm tree when a food crate dropped from above, decapitating him as the men watched. Serling led the

services for Levy and created a Star of David over his grave.[23] In his future writing career Serling would set several of his scripts in the Philippines

and use the unpredictability of death as a source for much of his material.[24]

Serling marched away from the successful mission in Leyte with two wounds including one to his kneecap[25] but neither was enough to keep him from combat

when General MacArthur used the paratroopers as they were intended on February 3, 1945. Colonel Haugen led the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment as it landed

on Tagaytay Ridge, met up with the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment and marched into Manila.

Serling, still a Private after three years,
caught the attention of Sergeant Frank Lewis when he ran into the line of fire to rescue a performer who had been on stage when the artillery started.[27]
As the troops continued to move in on Iwabuchi’s stronghold Serling’s regiment received a 50 percent casualty rate,
    with over 400 men killed.
Serling was wounded and three of the men he was with were killed by shrapnel from rounds fired at him and his roving demolitions team by an anti-aircraft

    gun.[28]
He was sent to New Guinea to recover,
but soon chose to return to Manila to finish ‘cleaning up’.
Private Serling’s final assignment was as part of the occupation force in Japan.[29] For his service to the U. S. Army he was awarded the Purple Heart, the

Bronze Star,[30] and the Philippine Liberation Medal.[5]

Serling’s Army combat service affected him deeply,
and also influenced much of his writing.
His wartime combat experiences left Serling with nightmares and flashbacks which would plague him for the rest of his life.
[5] He was quoted as saying,
“I was bitter about everything and at loose ends when I got out of the service. I think I turned to writing to get it off my chest.”[1]

After being discharged from the Army in 1946, Serling worked at a rehabilitation hospital while recovering from his wounds. His knee would continue to give

him trouble though, and his wife became used to the sound of Serling falling down the stairs after his knee refused to take his weight.[14]

Every writer is a frustrated actor who recites his lines in the hidden auditorium of his skull.

I’ve been watching more of Jim Willie’s videos on youtube. Amazing stuff. So we have gold vigilantes and the big guys are scrambling. Love it!

Thought these may help you with your essay. The last video I listened to, he’s wearing a blue shirt, he and Max even touch on the trillions missing and the WTC. I have to hear it again to absorb the details.

    LOL, Helen

JackAss is the name of the website of Jim Willie. His newsletter is called Hat Tricks, I believe…anyway, I stumbled upon him on Max Keiser’s site earlier today. You know, these things find me. I “was told” to go to Keiser’s site today – as I don’t visit it everyday. I “was told” to click on this interview. I was stunned at what I was hearing. Max said this guy is so sought after these days for speaking engagements and rightfully so. I realize some of it may seem above our heads, so to speak, but the gist is London “ain’t getting away with this one .” There are gold vigilantes and they aren’t going away quietly. LOL

This is bigger than the credit crisis, Madoff’s scheme, etc…You and Prairie may even be able to weave some of Story’s stuff in here???

Bottom line is when the lid blows on this one gold could go through the roof. It is being suppressed, as we know.

Venice has such a distinct way of summarizing – especially in layman’s terms – I’d love for her to do it if she has time.

You people give me more credit than I deserve, because I’m not a financier. But let’s start with this link as it gives you the bare bones.

    http://www.marketskeptics.com/2010/04/gold-manipulation-beginning-to-appear.html

To understand naked short selling (done by the major investment banks, ie. Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan) here’s another link.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_short_selling

In a nutshell because there appears to be only one actual ounce of gold for every 100 ounces purchased, this is really a “paper” gold market, not a gold market.

So when the banks sell “paper” gold to the public, they don’t actually have possession of the metal. This is called shorting the market. You can then set your own price, and the only time it gets exposed, is when the buyer wants delivery (ie. in their possession)of the actual physical gold.

When you set the price, can you list it at any price you want. Hence the manipulation.
Problem is, now somebody is knocking at the door wanting delivery.

So if you only have one ounce, you now have to pay your buyer for the remaining 99, and the price goes way up.

    Hope this helps.

I knew from the get go it was best to have possession of your metals and to have it in a form other than paper. Just like fiat currency – it’s worthless. Of course, I didn’t have the money these other investors did to not have a place to “store” it. If I understood the video correctly, some of these places were “storing” it for them – when in fact there was nothing to store. Right?

So, what are your thoughts on not being able to supress the price after this ponzi scheme is exposed?

You know JustMe, that’s a huge question and ultimately, as I once said on CW’s, America’s troubles will only be settled by international forces, because the many “ponzi” schemes if you will, not just financial, have all been designed to maintain Anglo-American dominance.

The importance of the video you posted indeed addresses this. Billionaires from Asia I believe came knocking at the LBMA’s
(London Bullion Market Association)door asking for delivery of their gold.

As I read in the above article, in one month alone the world purchased 22 billion ounces of gold alone. I doubt there’s that much gold going around.

BTW, you can invest in gold in actual physical possession, but also by investing in gold miners, especially juniors.

In case of gold and silver miners (silver miners lately have doing very well), you are investing in future production of these metals.

Okay, my brain is on overdrive w/this market implosion -

    - The City, London’s Rothschild Central Bank empire, has been rigging NOT fixing the gold bullion market for at least ten years we know of.
    - A body of 12 billionaires have caught onto the central banks “rigging” of the gold bullion market, and is forcing London’s hand by cashing out.
    - the bullion market, controlled by Amchel, does not have the gold or metals to back the cash outs
    - the bullion market, controlled by Amchel, is being forced by these mega investors to come clean and show their hand.

Question – how is this a ponzi scheme. London bullion market run out of the City of London has say 100 ounces in real bullion. Yet they leveraged this by 100 times meaning all that invested in paper gold will learn their share is one ounce? rather than 100 ounces?

Do I have this right? Correct me where I’m wrong. Do it in bullet points so I can keep this information simple. thanks

    Helen,

You need to distinguish between different forms of gold investing. Ponzi scheme, as a concept, refers to ETFs, like GLD and SLV. These are all paper trades.

It does not apply to actual physical gold possession and not to mining stocks, because the latter refer to future production, not current gold holdings.

ETF’s (exchange traded funds) are supposed to trade at approximately the same net asset value of the underlying asset. This includes bonds, stocks and commodities. If the asset value is only 1/100 of what you are paying for, you have now entered a fraudulent investment operation. So yes, your paper gold only represents 1/100th of what you paid for.

Owning physical (and perhaps mining stocks) resolves that issue.

    Prairie,

sorry to hear about Luke…basket weaving would be good. LOL

Well, I don’t know if you caught up on the thread or not, but basically I was poppin the cork because London’s ponzi scheme is being exposed. They’ve been controlling the price of gold/silver for a very long time. They raise & lower it when it’s convenient (and necessary) for them.

Venice explained it very well above and the Jim Willy videos I posted will give you the particulars. The second one towards the end of the vid — Jim and Max are talking about the trillions that are missing and WTC. Their tete-a-tete is about it is funny.

Jim Willy also talks about the other nefarious things the fed has been doing, like issuing bonds and then purchasing them BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE WILL…that’s called monetizing the debt. We pay for all of this “crap”, with interest, created from nothing and printed out of thin air.

Somethin’s going down…in London town….(sung to the tune of “let me take you to, that funky town.”) LOL

This may also explain why the stop order was issued for the Central Banks day before yesterday on the selling of their gold reserves. Just a guess.

Gold will continue to rise – one article said could see it hit $30,000 and ounce at some point. That would be nice. Hang on to those old gold chain necklaces and great grandpa’s gold tooth. LOL

So this is interesting, given the video posted here the other day about the 82nd Airborne being on high alert.

  297. venice
    Posted September 29, 2010 at 10:08 am | Permalink

    Prairie,

My understanding is that over the longterm, ie 3-5 years, silver will go up even more than gold. There are several reasons:

    1. silver is easier to manipulate, therefore its price is much more suppressed

    2. silver can be used for industrial purposes, more than gold

    3. the silver that has been mined, has already largely used, and so they are not mining it as fast as needed

    4. however silver is regarded as gold’s first cousin, in value so that could balance out the above 3.

    Posted September 29, 2010 at 10:19 am | Permalink

Just reading the article on Drudge about the “high alert” – it’s sadly laughable. Looks like all the talking heads have been given their orders to start “the terror conversation.” My husband was listening to Beck’s radio show this a.m. and he was referencing the Drudge article.

Beck, being the one with the crystal ball, said he doesn’t think anything will occur until after the elections. (read between the lines on this statement) Maybe there won’t be any elections??? Or maybe the “dictator” will be permanently installed. …i digress…

The talking head on ABC News video doesn’t have a clue about “when” – but, hey…we need to get this out there. Of course it’s al-CIA-duh groups, and the raids are being termed as “economic or soft” raids. Did ya get that?

The MOST interesting element of this article is the countries allegedly reported to be involved – Britain, France, Germany and maybe the U.S. Actually, it’s interesting to me because there are multiple countries involved. As we read headlines in the coming days, weeks, the big picture should begin to reveal itself.

AND…the funniest line in the entire article: “Officials say the German claimed the attack plan had been approved by Osama Bin Laden.”

    Read it here:

Don’t know how we would do this, but I was thinking it would be an interesting exercise to keep a running “tally,” so to speak, somewhere on the site of the economic news/headlines in these countries in the coming weeks.

Maybe just the headlines themselves would suffice, categorized by countries of course.

It’d be interesting to see what theories we come up with along the way.

Here’s the video of Jim Richards I posted a couple of threads back. Given the conversation on this thread I thought it’d be good to repost it. If you haven’t the time to watch it (2:04 min) here’s what they’re saying.

“When we have the sequential collapse of paper currencies, the U.S. has to go to Plan B — which is the Gold Standard – have to peg it at a non-deflationary level, references the problem back in the 1920′s had nothing to do with the gold standard itself, the problem was they pegged it at $20 per ounce, which was the pre WWI price and was highly deflationary. Had they pegged it at $50 an ounce it might have helped prevent the Great Depression. So, when we have to go back to gold standard now, it becomes really important to not peg it too low. He says it’s simple math (depending on whether you use M1 or M2 (I don’t know what these formulas are) and is simply where we’ll end up when the dollar collapses — $5,000-$11,000 per ounce.” He says this is not some pie in the sky number he’s quoting. It’s simple math. Funny to watch these guy’s response – they are in shock when they hear gold could go that high.

He says they’re now starting to quote the dollar in terms of relative ounces of gold.

Go back to Ft. Bragg and the false flag attack by Hasan. Recall, Story was reporting then that Hasan’s attack was used to cover up the showdown at the airstrip b/w bush and the chinese who came for their gold. Remember too, the following day Dubya and Laura showed up at the base pretending to be sympathetic to the soldiers all the while knowing the real reason behind Hasan’s dirty work for the central banksters. We also keep seeing snippets of Dubya for Prez again. Although he and his entire criminal family are behind all of these false flags. Helen,

I purchased from Midas – ads are on Alex’s site. He’s the guy, Ted, that comes on ever so often to talk about his prices, etc. But, there are many ads on every financial website for metals.

Recall Venice posted an article from an ex-Goldline employee talking about the “scam” in selling pre-1933 coins. The coins themselves are fine, it’s just the sales pitch they used that the govt considered them antiques and were less likely to be confiscated.

Nonetheless, Midas prices seem to be in line with the other places and we have an established r/s with them. You hear these talk show hosts say mention “Alex” or “Beck” or whomever and you’ll get a better deal. Midas owns RBN and GCN broadcasting networks, so Rivera or Alex or…will work. Goldline is Beck’s preferred place.

Main thing is take possession of them. It usually takes us around 3-4 weeks to receive the shipment once we’ve made the wire transfer for funds.

Venice follows the markets on mining and other raw materials, too. For now, I’m sticking with coins, because it’s easy.

I should add one more thing. I’ve somewhere, many articles, blogs ago, that price of both metals is such, that they only allow the price of gold to go up $100.00 per quarter, ie, $400.00 per year.

If you recall gold approx. one year ago was approx. $980.00 more or less.

But I’m given the distinct impression that, as we just heard Jim Willie say, they’re losing this battle, courtesy of the Chinese and Arabs, and maybe 1 or 2 Russian billionaires, that price suppression won’t be holding up for much longer. So who can say. But even at this rate, it is only going up.

    Now,

thinking back on the post here about the wall being built in southern Mexico to keep the immigrants out, I have to wonder what this is REALLY about. No doubt Mexico has aligned itself financially with the U.S. (No.Am. Union) and remember the Rio-Group meetings that excluded the U.S. and Canada working on a plan for economic survival and continued strength. I think the immigrants would be better off if they stay south of that wall.

Anyone else think this wall being built has a deeper meaning? What’s the planned completion date? Hmmmm…

Former China Adviser: US Dollar Is ‘One Step Nearer’ to Crisis

now we know why Summers left –

The upcoming midterm elections in the United States could easily flip control to the other inept party, as perceptions grow of systemic failure while political inaction persists. Anticipated gridlock would ensure inaction and accelerate the slide. President Obama hastily sent the lead economic adviser Larry Summers to Beijing to haggle with Chinese leaders over their currency policy. Summers promptly resigned afterwards. Team Obama is losing its members, never perceived as any all-star cast, but rather retreads. The political insects in the USCongress harp on China, an easy target. They buzz but make no honey. Further details on events related to other nations in the widening Competing Currency War are provided in the September Hat Trick Letter. Refer to China versus Japan, but also unilateral actions taken by Australia and Switzerland. Some juicy updates are provided regarding the New Nordic Euro currency scheduled for June 2011. A reversion to the D-Mark currency might be the more likely route. Great disruption comes, but with a de-centralization theme. Several months ago the Jackass forecasted a broad movement toward domestic currencies in Europe. The Globalists appear to be blocked from their conceived plans, good news for people who care about the people.

    THE GOLD REACTION

The next chapter will not unfold like the last chapter. Past efforts to remedy in response to crisis were extraordinarily shallow and ineffective. The next round will feature a zooming gold & silver price, already hitting record high levels. GOLD & SILVER will be the beneficiary to currency strife, the global tremor in the monetary system. The paper currencies and their attached sovereign shackles of debt have ruined the approved legal tender format. Money is actually denominated debt!! In the forecasting arena, applying yesterday’s effect to a different world makes for gross errors. What comes will not be a repeat of the USDollar rise after the September and October 2008 events. In fact, what comes next will be the opposite. My forecast is for all currencies, including the USDollar, to suffer great damage in their purchase power and the all important confidence aspect, but to rotate in focused stories. The Competing Currency War has heated up in a huge way. The broken sovereign debt arena has done untold damage to the monetary system, a story not fully told. Gold & Silver will rise, but the currencies (USDollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, Yen) will experience eerie calm !!! Sure, the USDollar will fall, but only until the Euro is intentionally undermined and damaged by its own custodians on the continent. The falling USDollar is your tipoff that every major currency will be under assault. Gold will react favorably.

Numerous factors have conspired to lift the Gold price, which has broken the $1300 target level. It has much more to run, since nothing is fixed, much money has been squandered, and great volumes of additional debt will be monetized in a cancer stroke. Silver has also breached the important $21.5 level of resistance. Rather than show a chart of the Gold price or Silver price, check the Gold-Silver Ratio. Great strides are soon to come in the Silver price, breath taking moves toward $30. The Powerz are losing control of silver, as the shortage is acute. Endemic Big Bank behavior has changed radically in the silver price suppression. They are losing control. Lack of physical metal does that!! One should always remember that central banks own no silver, thus silver wins on the supply side. Also, industry makes almost no demands of gold, thus silver wins on the demand side. Its volatile price should not deter the investor in times of crisis and grotesque shortage, but rather give courage.

this info was taken from the recent jack ass update JM posted at 12:13 pm today

    Helen,

BINGO! That’s exactly why Summers left.

Remember when the little elf, Timmy, was also sent to China and the students outwardly laughed at him?

China has a different economic philosophy/theory – much different that the British Keynesian theory to which Summers, Geithner, Bernake and others subscribe to. We can all see where this has gotten us. Below is a quick explanation of the Keynesian theory from wisegeek.

“Keynesian economics is an economic theory named after John Maynard Keynes (1883 – 1946), a British economist. It was his simple explanation for the cause of the Great Depression for which he is most well-known. Keynes’ economic theory was based on an circular flow of money. His ideas spawned a slew of interventionist economic policies during the Great Depression.

In Keynes’ theory, one person’s spendings goes towards anothers earnings, and when that person spends her earnings she is, in effect, supporting anothers earnings. This circle continues on and helps support a normal functioning economy. When the Great Depression hit, people’s natural reaction was to hoard their money. Under Keynes’ theory this stopped the”

it sure is eye-catching. I LOVE IT!

I just wrote to one of my nieces for the bazillionth time to see if she ever purchased any gold/silver. I can’t get her or my other close friend to WAKE THE HELL UP. All of their wealth is tied up in fiat currency. I’ve been trying to tell them for 2 years now to get out of the market. A year and a half ago, my niece & her husband were at a dinner party and sat next to a financial investor (big red flag). She asked him some questions based on what I’d been trying to relay to her. You can imagine where that went. No surprise he was “downsizing” his own living quarters at the time and selling off other assets. She couldn’t see that as a “sign.” He said the dollar was doing fine and not to worry. So frustrating.

I phoned a dear friend this morning to give her a heads up and to please take the time to read this thread b/c she and her husband are stretched just like so many other hard-working Americans. I learned her husband has been a collector of coins for sometime which warmed my heart. Her mind is open but time is her enemy, which is the case for so many citizens these days.

However there remains the most stubborn amongst us who simply refuse to take the time to learn. Their minds are brilliant but their willingness to open them up to viewpoints contradictory to their own is what appears to keep smart people stuck. And I do think its nature w/a touch of nurture.

last night, around 12:30 I popped my head out my office window to get some fresh air. when I looked up into the sky to see the moon, which is almost full, there I saw a chemtrail w/about five maybe six trails in total. it was late and i couldn’t find the camera but it was blatantly obvious they were spraying last night.

now, since sometime in the middle of the night we’ve had steady rain, cloud cover, etc.

what is peculiar is this – i hear standard airplanes overhead, which is not normal, about every fifteen minutes, in b/w the commercial flights I hear a low roar of another aircraft steady for about 5 to 10 minutes. air traffic all day. this is not the norm. we live in a an area of town that is not on a flight path and is dead silent most all day and night. all i normally hear are birds singing.

here’s my thinking – whatever is going on they are seeding the clouds so we can’t “see” all of the plane traffic high into the sky. we can hear it for sure and it’s been going on all day long.

my regret was not taking a picture. the trails were fresh and the moon outlined them so beautifully. had i had my camera i would have driven down to the river and taken the photo from that vantage point. open sky, full moon and chemtrails. doesn’t get any clearer than that.

yes, i am of the belief that this purposeful seeding was to create cover. the low droning sound of a plane has been all day and the sound is very distinct from that of a commercial plane.

Ladies – I get it now. I get it. I get it. I get it.

I’ll bet if we were to look at each tragedy we’d see clearly how gold or silver was confiscated or trillions went missing.

In Keynes’ theory, one person’s spendings goes towards anothers earnings, and when that person spends her earnings she is, in effect, supporting anothers earnings. Here is a list of the top 16 gold rich countries. The U.S. is number one, with a commanding lead. On the assumption of course that there is gold at Fort Knox, something Ron Paul has been trying to audit for years.

However, it does not exceed the sum total of the combined European countries, which from a quick calculation is at least 30% more.

The BRIC countries are trailing far behind (China, Russia, India) as are Japan, Taiwan, and Venezuela.

    Venice,

I think the consensus is there is no gold in Ft. Knox. I’d read the Federal Reserve Bank (privately owned) is holding the gold as collateral for America’s debt. This is purportedly why they won’t allow an audit. Supposedly, back during Ron Reagan’s reign he assigned a committee called the “Gold Committee” to investigate this matter.

I think Helen and Prairie could add to this given the fact they followed Christopher Story much more closely than I did.

I’m surprised to read India and China are trailing behind in gold holdings. Interesting.

    Prairie,

    LOOKING PRETTY IN PINK TODAY…..

interesting article about JP Morgan and the foreclosures. If people were just signing off and not double checking the paperwork makes me think they were told to just “get ‘er done.” Doesn’t pass the smell test.

It’s a strange situation with these mortgages and how they’re carried on the bank’s balance sheet. If my memory serves me, they can be carried as both a liability and an asset, whether or not it is income producing. The more foreclosures that hit the market the further down home values plunge. (think supply and demand) If you are a bank sitting with 20,000 foreclosed homes on your balance sheet valued @ $200,000 each, and suddenly more foreclosed homes hit the market the value is reduced to $100,000 – that’s a significant drop in a bank’s assets that could ultimately lead to failure. So, I’m wondering if this “intentional” move by JP Morgan is an intentional move to stop foreclosures is more about them than the little people.

Have to remember they sell these mortgage debts to other countries and, for the most part, many have stopped buying any of our debt or at least have slowed way down.

There was also an issue with the way these mortgage debts were being “bundled” to sell. The scam was they put a few solid loans in with numerous loans they KNEW would be defaulted on. This is when all hell broke loose.

I don’t know if I made myself clear above concerning foreclosures.

Bottom line, they need to hault the homes being foreclosed on to stop the supply from increasing. There is no real demand right now, therefore the price comes way down. They need their balance sheets (assets) to look healthy right now. Add to that the uncovering of their shenanigans in bundling. Some of these mortgages have been re-bundled and then sold again (probably numerous times) they can’t even find the original loan. This is why people started “squatting” – forcing the hand of the bank/mortgage company to come up with the original note.

when I used to listen regularly to Dr. Wynn Parker on Saturdays, he reported on these new planets & asteroids that were being discovered and talked about the new frontier of privately owned companies building the new space ships to take folks into outer space. He said we would see it in our lifetime – he’s an old guy, too. He even talked about the elite and their plans to “claim” these planets. Of course, they would.

This is one of those public-private partnerships situations and why the budget for NASA was sliced up. I think Virgin just unveiled earlier this week their “ship” for space travel didn’t they?

Anyway you can loosen the fitting of that pretty pink jacket – this is not so woo woo. It is real. Parker was saying to invest in titanium, copper and some other metals that would be used in this new frontier.

I wished the elite would find their own planet and leave this one alone!!!!

    Helen,

you may find it difficult to withdraw ALL fiat money. Many banks have now put restrictions (I think it’s federal mandates) on the amount of money you can withdraw at any given time. It varies from bank to bank. It’s because of their system of fractional reserve lending – they don’t have much in the way of reserve currency, as you’ve learned. When we started buying metals we could just go to the regular window and do a wire transfer. A few months later we had to see someone higher up to “approve” the transfer. The same thing is happening when people are depositing payroll checks and want to “less cash.” Some banks were putting a 10 day hold on the funds. Many folks walked away with no cash, just a deposit slip.

You’ll need to leave enough money in your household account for the wire transfer, and should have at least 3-6 months worth of living expenses.

You may have an interesting day at the bank…

    Helen, JustMe,

That’s a hard call, because it depends on the imminent circumstances that involve liquidating these investments. Certainly gold holds more steady. As the article I posted above states, silver never trades sideways, its either up or down. So its far more tempermental than gold. In other words, it has greater potential to the upside, but can also go down faster.

On the assumption they both go up over at least the next couple of years (bear in mind I’m only referring to physical metals, not ETFs) the question is when will you need it, how much and for what.

Therefore, if you have other resources, and it is largely for longterm investment, clearly silver outpaces gold.

In response to your question Helen, I posted earlier that 50/50 is a reasonable split, since none of us have chrystal balls. But again it depends upon the factors I just stated.

Please remember I’m not a financial advisor. This is only my analyis based on what I’ve learned thus far. It does not come from any other source.

Venice posted a link to an article written by a former employee of Goldline, Doug Eberhardt, exposing the scam they were using to sell the pre-1933 coins. There was a bigger markup on these coins, so commissions were higher. I wasn’t necessarily misled by the company I purchased from, but I bought pre-1933 coins based on this story that was floating around out there. Of course, they were happy to sell them to me.

Posting the link again. Doug Eberhardt sells gold/silver and calls himself the WalMart of this market. LOL He says silver is silver and gold is gold no matter the form. So small bullion bars of either are fine and there’s less markup, so more bank for your buck. I think we may use this guy this time around.

    Here is his website:

    Helen,

I probably don’t need to tell those posting here, but perhaps the lurkers, that I’ve devoted a good part of the little time I’ve on precious metals.

That’s because as Neilson points out, it will singularily make the difference between weathering the storm of what’s to come (and I believe we are reaching a crisis situation of epic proportions in the developed world) and not.

That doesn’t mean supplies, energy, food, and water are not critical either. But it is an another essential way in which the everyday person can truly protect themselves. I couldn’t give a damn about gold and silver. In fact I have some beautiful pieces that sadly I seldom wear.

But this isn’t what this is about. I will quote a commmenter on Seeking Alpha and hope that they will accept.

“Gold is now raising its voice”.

“Competitive currency manipulation destroys wealth and purchasing power.

Fake currencies, fraudulent public debt, false statistics are vast lies that must and will be exposed.

The greatest source of economic and geo-strategic risk in the world today is the U.S. Regime.

Gold is not merely marking down the fiat currencies of the world.

It is marking down the regimes that rule much of the West.

Gold is more than a monetary metal.

It is a messenger of truth.”

Of course, back then, no one really knew much about it.

    Venice,

no worries…I’ll try to post what I can as I can from his interview. (RBN doesn’t have the same free podcasts available as GCN)

Sad, he’s talking about how they took Greece down – they intentionally ran up the dollar, then sold it…the Euro went down and they covered their short. Then they went to the other countries in the EU and said you GOTTA bail Greece out. Collectively these countries came up with a few trillion and were told, sorry it isn’t enough. He said the people who run Europe (global elite) will bleed them for every dime they have.

    JustMe,

I read somewhere, probably SA, that U.S. banks are long on treasuries, and short on gold.

The intent being, to borrow in Euros, invest in T-bills, short gold, which in turn will protect treasuries, and repay the Euro.

I guess that would be a warning for gold investors in EFTs. They won’t do that of course until it is a bubble (you know they have to maximize the number of victims) and that could be 2 to 5 years. Again, I repeat, gold investors here would only be those investing in EFTs.

    Fraud is putting it mildly.

Oh, one more thing, Soros and Paulson both bought up billions of shares of GLD (the gold ETF) last year, and added again to their little bundle this year. Geez, I wonder why.

Read the second entry. Basically it describes the use of the “gold lever” that pushed a gold spike with fears of inflation. In this way Soros shorted t-bills, made a killing and reused the profits to speculate against the pound. That’s how he brought the Bank of England down.

Key statement in this article, under “the strategy”:

“curiously enough it appears that Paulson’s gold fund will not actually buy any physical gold”.

Yes, this is a ponzi scheme.

Here’s an interesting tid bit in listening to Chapman and this other guy who was covering for John Stedmiller’s show – when purchasing gold/silver in regards to weight…purchase a variety of weights – like you would denominations in coins like nickels, quarters, dimes, etc. Why? If you are purchasing something and only have a denomination in higher ounces, chances are you won’t get your change, or that can’t make change. Makes perfect sense to me.

Okay, had this random thought – can you see someone purchasing a BigMac and trying to get the right change in pure silver/gold? Seems so surreal, hey?

Guess it’s time to pop the cork.

You are so right! It is critical to get this out. This is where WE can make a difference in our own personal livelihoods – in addition to stock piling food, water, heirloom seeds, etc…whereas a myopic view of focusing on the damn b/c, nbc as our salvation is like a dog chasing it’s own tail.

You have always been so great about “gently urging” folks to put all this other clutter aside and look at what we can do to help ourselves in the moment for our future.

I will post the podcast later for those that missed it.

He’s talking about Mexico playing some game with their currency today. Weird. Why would they push their own currency down?

Paul Craig Roberts & Chapman seem to be the only ones calling for tarriff (stiff ones) across the board. Said it would be the BEST thing that could happen for this country, despite what the damn Keynesians would have us believe – he emphasizes they are the ones in control. We all have felt the impact of that damn London school of economics. Ugh!

Wow, Chapman is dissing on what happened to Bhutto and who she was.

Chapman was former counter intelligence and said he knows a lot about Bhutto. She was both MI6 and CIA operative. She got fed up with the ongoing b/s about Osama binLaden and she spoke up and said here’s what’s going down and this guy is D E A D. The CIA was furious with her and took her out. Chapman names his roommate in college – Peter Galbrieth (sp?). Son of John Galbrieth from Texas? Does this mean anything to anyone?

He said when Bhutto was enrolled in college (Harvard) a British plane flew all of her stuff to the U.S. and flew it back when she returned.

    Cool info…..
