Globalists Push World Transaction Tax at UN Summit

Globalists representing 60 nations will meet at the UN this coming week to push a tax on world financial transactions in the name of solving poverty and climate change, formally launching a massive program to bankrupt the middle class and enrich the coffers of global government.
“Spearheaded by European Union countries, the so-called “innovative financing” proposal envisages a tax of 0.005 percent (five cents per $1,000), which experts estimate could produce more than $30 billion a year worldwide for priority causes,” reports CNS News.
As Ira Stoll, editor of FutureCapitalism.com, points out, new taxes always start off small so as to not be resisted by the people forced to pay them, and are then always gradually increased.
“When people suggest taxes, they always start out ‘small,” said Stoll.
“But once the door is opened to the idea of ‘global taxes,’ you can bet they won’t end small. Never mind all the issues about whether development aid actually helps poor countries or just winds up empowering corrupt local dictators and their cronies.”
The call for a global transaction tax arrives in the aftermath of a leaked UN blueprint which outlined how elitists plan to re-brand global warming in an effort to dismantle the middle class by instituting a “global redistribution of wealth” via carbon taxes.
The aim is to “limit and redirect the aspirations for a better life of rising middle classes around the world,” in other words to reduce the standard of living for the middle classes in Western Europe and America.

Reposting from Joan Veon’s letter dated December 2005 discussing the meaning of a GLOBAL TAX.
She began attending UN global meetings in 1994, because she’d heard they were interested in floating the idea of global taxation.
Eleven years later – in 2005 – testing the waters with a ‘simple’ tax on airline tickets, the UN approved the first global tax. According to Joan’s conversation with France’s Jacques Chirac, if that went well, they had more ideas for global taxation.
Veon continues, “What does a global tax signify? It signifies that there are no more barriers between the nation-states-that the countries of the world are now ONE.”
Well, here we are today, and “O” is officially committing the requited amount from all UN nations, 0.7 percent of our gross national product for ODA (official development assistance). This global tax will be used essentially as foreign aid. A figure, according to an article by Cliff Kincaid, of approximately $845 billion from the U.S. alone.
Senator David Vitter seems to be the only one who has made a move when he was told of the proposal ahead of the summit. He introduced Senate resolution (461) and is asking the Senate and Congress to reject any proposal for global taxation and regulation by the UN. He has a growing concern that this APPOINTED governing body continues to demand more power and authority in world affairs.

regarding the Greenspan/Gold comment in the article on the prior thread, I honestly didn’t “get” his comment that Central Banks should be paying more attention to gold?
Central Banks hold gold in reserve (some more than others) to protect against fluctuating values of currencies. They get their gold from BIS – the Central Bank’s Central Bank. I remember reading back in the summer about India’s big gold buy, then I believe they sold a chunk of it when the price shot up. China, as Venice has posted, is also increasing their gold reserves. What am I missing that the article is saying?

Max Keiser is on Alex’s show right now and his response to this proposal is the fact the big banks are going to announce massive write downs in next 6-12 months. They need the people’s money. Both he and Alex said even Stalin didn’t do this.
Look for the Federal Reserve and Bank of England to get more power.

Duff’s interview was worth the while. Fits right in with much of what we’ve been discovering.
I would like for him to have elaborated on Kissinger. Tarpley’s book, Unauthorized Bio on Bush Sr., has a chapter on Kissinger. He was/is one evil man, as was Bush. How he has gotten away with so much is beyond me.
The one thing that continues to haunt me since I read it was the fact that Kissinger, Mao Zedong and George Bush Sr. collaborated to install Pol Pot with the FULL INTENT, for George, at least, of committing genocide so as to rid the earth of the “inferior” races and keep the yellow-skinned people from “out breeding” the imperial Anglo-Saxon racial stock.”

Who knows if CW sold his site or not, but I would doubt his numbers are what they once were. The posters that once made his numbers rocket are all but gone…moved on, no doubt much more informed as a result…far beyond the tired old conversation that continues on his site. Based on recent posts that site has become little more than a game for some that remain – admittedly baiting and psychologically manipulating then sitting back and laughing at those who are honestly trying to make a difference with their posts.
Time is precious much to precious to waste on those kinds of games and fools.

Just watching a documentary, UNITED WE FALL, on the No. American Union. Canada was assured sovereignty and promised it wouldn’t be affected by the free trade agreement. But, their capital would be taken over by multi-national corporations.
Since the free trade agreement with Canada was signed, during Reagan’s reign, 2/3rd’s of Canadian families standard of living has gone down. This agreement preceded NAFTA.

I remember working in the ad industry when the very real concern of how the software program “Photoshop” could alter history. There were no regulations or laws governing this new frontier. The laws were being written as we designed, altered, obliterated and bastardized people, places and things. A word about refinancing. Last year, we were in this mode and here is what we were told. If it makes a *significant* difference in your monthly payment then it is a good idea to refinance. If it doesn’t, consider taking that money you would have paid out to refinance and buy a little silver with it, pay off another debt or buy something you may need in the future and couldn’t get easily – like a washing machine or refrigerator or…a car or new counter tops. (LOL).
Keep this in mind – home values are continuing to drop, thus building “equity” in our homes is a thing of the past. In other words, they used to be looked upon as an investment, and the goal was to build “equity.” One could use the equity as collateral for a loan. The accrued value would – at the time of sale – would give you enough money to pay down on another home and maybe even have a little extra cash to put in your pocket (of course it was taxed). You won’t see that happening again. If ever. I heard this recently from Bob Chapman – I believe. He laid out the whole scheme of home ownership and buying and selling them, which was very eye opening. Once again, the ones making the money on the scheme were the bankers.
Many people have just quit paying their mortgages all together and are squatting in their repoed $500,000 homes that are now worth $150,000 or even less. Others have just walked away from their homes and are renting instead of throwing good money after bad. I believe Gerald Celente’s audio that I posted above says there are 22-25 million homes that have been foreclosed on, and that number will just continue to climb. Sad, huh?!
We had to refinance last year because, unbeknownst to us, we had an adjustable rate mortgage. Lucky for us, the adjustment in the interest rate went down. That’s when we made the decision to refinance. We were a little nervous because we had to get an appraiser out before we redid the note. I had to drag out all my paperwork from our renovation to “prove” the house’s value equaled what was being refinanced. You will probably have to do the same thing – get it reappraised. (let that one sink in for a moment.)
If and when we decide to sell, I know we will be lucky to break even on the mortgage. We bought just before the bubble burst and consequently paid much more than what the house is really worth. That’s one reason I have given up on the notion to pay off the mortgage. So, if it ever comes to a point where my husband becomes unemployed or for some reason can no longer work and we have to walk away, so be it. They’ll be plenty of empty ones sitting around. We will feel good that we didn’t give all our money to the evil bankers, and that we took care of ourselves and put money into other “things.”

forgot one thing…at the time of refinancing we essentially had to have fund the escrow account for the new loan in advance. What that meant is we had to pay up front, a full year of insurance. Something else to keep in mind.

JJ – I don’t have an answer for you regarding the purchase of silver and/or gold. Something I heard yesterday may help you a bit, that is, buying silverware at yard sales or estate sales. The coinage is what holds value in the marketplace; however, silverware’s value is increasing too. It was suggested to buy it up and either sell in exchange for coins or use it to barter.
What I do want you to know, is that I listened to you way back when you first sounded the alarm about stockpiling food and other goods. Because of you, and others here, I’ve begun this process and have been buying goods when on sale to fatten the pantry. Out of all the things one can do to protect her family, I believe, is being able to provide daily nourishment.
You are light years ahead of so many of us b/c, like venice stated to Prairie below, you have great instincts…use them…trust them.

Helen, yes that’s great advice. People think they need gold bars. No…just gold jewelry, gold teeth, silverware, etc. I believe there is a certain year where the amount of silver used in a coin changed. So, need to read up on that if buying silver coins. Other metals are important, too. Titanium and copper is huge. Hell, half the businesses & churches in this town have had the copper stolen out of their a/c units. I had a brother-in-law that used to buy old computer parts at swap meets for the scrap metal. I don’t know how viable that is anymore.
Also, think in terms of bartering.
If you or your husband have a skill it can be used in exchange for “something” when money isn’t readily available.
Buy things that you can use for bartering. Booze and cigs are always valuable items for bartering. Now, I don’t know if someone at the utility company will take a fifth of vodka for making an “adjustment” on your monthly account, but…someone with a silver coin may buy a pack of cigs from you. (LOL) Or it could get you a night at a hotel/motel. I’m serious. This has been in every book we’ve read on survival.
Prairie, you’re ahead of the game on this one with that set up you have in the art studio. I won’t say openly what it is, but…I’m “cracking” up.

I am soooo frustrated—when we both had no jobs for about a year, we tried to modify our loan—not unless you are 3 months behind, they say, well, we sold a used car, a 4-wheeler, and a motorcycle.
We never got 3 months behind with our $5000 savings, selling shit, and using credit cards…we survived until husband started logging again…we sound stupid, but I am a great budgeter, $200 a week just for gas hunting employment kicked our butts, that and no income…
Our credit cards were paid on one of those pay all real fast–we’ll knock off 70% deals–we paid off two for $6700 total in 6 months and it was really hard.
Now, we have 1099s for 2011 from those—we don’t care any longer—why should we worry about 1099 when we send 100 billion to Israel and our states are bankrupt—where is our common sense??
Working for minimum wage here is really stupid—not that there are any jobs within 30 miles. Gas and food, expenses eats up all you make–last job, I cleared $5.06 an hour.
The Lord has blessed us and I am a firm believer—to be thankful and realize how fortunate one is, one must experience financial hardships, bad health, loss of loved ones—only then, can we appreciate all we have and I’ve survived knowing there are worse things than death and ALWAYS someone WORSE.

We paid 10,000 less than appraisal in August of 2007…it has probably held that appraisal, for we are looking at other houses saving $10,000 to move to a smaller house next September with only 2 BR, about 2/3 acres–houses withour footage, one acre, haven’t depreciated here.
We have not been hurt and can sell for less than appraisal and still be okay–thank God.
Ky houses aren’t moving, but they aren’t lowering the prices either–mine doesn’t have anything on walls–it’s like new, and has landscaping, so better than a new one here–they don’t landscape. Duh.

Buy things that you can use for bartering. Booze and cigs are always valuable items for bartering. Now, I don’t know if someone at the utility company will take a fifth of vodka for making an “adjustment” on your monthly account, but…someone with a silver coin may buy a pack of cigs from you. (LOL) Or it could get you a night at a hotel/motel. I’m serious. This has been in every book we’ve read on survival.

The hardest hit states have been California and Florida where the home prices were outrageous to begin with. Obviously there are other states that are hard hit, too, most likely are areas where there was industry that has shut down – like Detroit and the car mfgs who have moved plants to other countries.
I skimmed an article yesterday about Alan Grayson taking steps in his home state – Florida – concerning the foreclosures. I don’t agree with him on everything and he can be a bit of a tyrant, but…he’s doing something for his constituents when others aren’t.

This current UN Summit is discussing their Millennium Development Goals – projected target date of 2015 – which are geared towards slashing poverty, combating disease, fighting hunger, protecting the environment and boosting eduction, many of which will be achieved by nefarious means. As mentioned before, this will be accomplished by a “redistribution of the wealth.” Our wealth! The U.S. will undoubtedly bear one of the biggest shares of this cost. JM – back in early 2001 or 2002, The Nature Conservancy was targeted by the WPost with a series laying out the mismanagement of its resources. As a result the Senate held a hearing and applauded the Board and Management for taking the appropriate actions to clean up their portfolio. The IRS also conducted a thorough audit of the books. Following this, the mission changed from national to international with many of the former state chapters raising money from their donors to support the new focus on International sustainability protection. The Bd Chairman during this rout was none other than Hank Paulson. Yep, good old, Paulson.
The then CEO suddenly quit to the shock of everyone b/c he was unable to keep the trust of his inner management circle. I’m now more than confident there was a helluva lot more to his immediate resignation than infighting. That said, the Bd did a search for a new CEO and the second in line in management applied for the top job. She was a gem and loyal to the mission although it was an extremely tough transition going from a national to international/global sustainability organization. She didn’t get the job. Rather, a former Goldman Sachs manager did.
The culture of this organization turned from secret to supra ultra secret and it started to feel more like a cult than a healthy vibrant nonprofit. Lots of oddities I witnessed but most of all I witnessed their chapter board members infiltrating other nonprofit boards. These members did the minimum to sit on these boards and I mean the minimum, but the intel they got in return was priceless; especially as it related to government affairs.
The organization behind sustainability was selected, scrubbed clean and made whole by Goldman Sachs and her name is The Nature Conservancy.
And don’t forget the first family of the Netherlands founded the World Wildlife Fund aka WWF.
Well, well, well….continuing with the subject of the U.N. on this thread and my reading Veon’s book, “United Nations’ Global Straightjacket,” I came upon a few more pieces of the puzzle. It may also help to explain why it doesn’t matter that Kenya Boy is in the Oval Office.

The United Nations has set global policy for all countries to follow. The agreements coming out of the U.N. General Assembly become international legal code, which transcends national law. Every time they meet, the resolutions they pass help to expand the field of international. Veon describes international law as the “glue” for all of the U.N.’s efforts. (Article 13 of the Charter)
She says EXECUTIVE ORDERS support international law. That explains a lot, doesn’t it?! Now we know voting ‘em out won’t solve much. The president will just continue to work around Congress with this privilege, especially when it comes to the U.N. agenda.
Here is an excerpt from her book that I found most interesting:
“If you compare American laws or bills pending in the U.S. Congress with U.N. resolutions and treaties, you will see that our national laws are being “internationalized,” that is, rewritten to conform to international law. That is why Americans are having more and more difficulty telling the difference between Democrats and Republicans. In some cases, actual language from the U.N. Treaty or resolution is inserted into congressional bills and law. It is unfortunate that our court system and/or our Congress are unwilling to halt this ominous change. That is not being introduced by law is being implemented through executive orders.”
She also points out that Bill Clinton issued Executive Order 13107, which implemented into our legal structure U.N. human rights law. Now we know why HellCAT reported the Arizona immigration practices to the U.N.
I have to agree with Veon’s assessment that “Congress a bunch of high paid paper pushers who are traitors to the United States Constitutions.”

I wonder how many candidates – including the real grassroots Tea Party candidates – really grasp the enormity of this. And would it matter? As I said, whomever is in office will just use executive orders to further the UN’s takeover. We have a really big problem and I believe there is little recourse, except for the obvious.

Interesting, when Joan Veon’s book was written in 1999, she mentioned they were working on the draft of the Earth Charter. I decided to see how far along they are and…what’da’ya know – complete.

no doubt Well’s site has been taken over. Looks like Citizen Carlyle is now doubling as Citizen Wells. I pity anyone that wastes their time there. So much garbage and misdirection and distractions.
Well, I’ve been telling Helen, and now the same ones posting the same shit..I would have never figured it out—but the graphic change, the insincere posts by “CW” and things not jiving as regular business, indicates what Helen said…..where did CW go??
I left this morning and don’t respond at all…so sad…FS ran off all the participants…
Yesterday, I counted 21 videos, of 78 comments on one thread!!!
Well, JS led the RAP bunch that did turn out to be a hoax, and now FS will lead the bunch that thinks an Arab with a satellite phone in a cave was sophisticated enough to design an attack that took years to prepare.
By the way….CW hardly EVER commented and now, CW and Michelle hold regular conversations.

You’ll love this, I heard the other day that Chertoff actually has a triple citizenship – add Italy to his list. The same man that was head of our Homeland Security, and is financially tied to the company making the naked body scanners. But, we aren’t the only ones with this problem, both Canada and UK are dealing with these same yahoos.
I wonder how many candidates – including the real grassroots Tea Party candidates – really grasp the enormity of this. And would it matter? As I said, whomever is in office will just use executive orders to further the UN’s takeover. We have a really big problem and I believe there is little recourse, except for the obvious.
I sadly say the TPP is a day late, a dollar short as my Dad used to say….

and more, my head is chock full of new info, Dr. Wood doesn’t come right out and say it BUT hints that it was a star wars type of weapon that, energy is the word she uses, to bring down the buildings.

When you read how these same yahoos created all of these non-profit organizations, as Helen pointed out above, including Planned Parenthood, World Wildlife Fund and Sierra Club, and Nature Conservancy served as the front groups for their agenda. Their new “thing” is SPP – public/private partnerships to accomplish more of their goals. Take a look at Veon’s site. I think you’d like it. She was really ahead of her time I believe.

I should clarify my earlier post about the replacement of the U.S. documents with the U.N. documents. Based on Veon’s knowledge she said it was her opinion. That was back in 1999. I have to say, a bazillion executive orders, treaties, and agreements later, I believe she’s right. She is spot on, in my opinion.

Whispers around Capitol Hill are the Defense Authorization bill was never meant to pass. Tuesday’s cloture vote in the Senate on the annual Pentagon budget went down in a 56 – 43 vote. The two Arkansas Democrats Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor both crossed party lines and voted with Republicans. Senate majority leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat voted no, so the vote could be brought up again at a later time.
Tacked on to the defense bill were controversial measures like the repeal of the military policy known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the pro-amnesty immigration bill called the Dream Act, and allowing abortions on military bases.
Many around the hill were skeptical the bill would get pass a cloture vote given the controversial subject matter and believe Democrats only wanted to fire up their most activist liberal base: pro-amnesty activists, LGBT activists, and pro-choice groups.
(oooh, now I get it …more ammo for illegals, latinos, gays, and democratic, poor women at Republican, conservatives.)

And, wasn’t there a comment made not too long ago that V. Jarhead said “O” would be the RULER?
Maybe, just maybe, there’s something more to that. He does have the final say over the 9-10 regions carved up according to these U.N. mandates.
This is just too obvious—CW never answered, hardly ever had this going—she’s got to be in on this…whatever this is…

JM – the burning question for me is how are these laws, rules affecting state’s constitutions? Are the state’s still sovereign? If not, where does one go to get said information and what on earth would the code words be under state law? I just read Joan’s piece on sustainability and like you said it was outstanding. However, while we remain focused on federal matters, I fear our state houses are passing said laws to end our sovereignty.
a geneologist I read sometime ago put forward the theory that Obama was a creation of dna from Cleopatra’s bloodline and I think it was David Rockefeller who supposedly died in Papua New Guinea. He was basically one of the first “test tube” babies. I thought then that this researcher was nuts, but I’m coming closer and closer to believing his theory. excellent question. Either Joan and/or Michael Shaw says they are going straight for the local entities – cities/counties/states – to bypass federal roadblocks that could take years.
I believe the buzz word was “global local.” I may have seen it on the Earth Charter website, too. Viewed too much stuff today to remember.

you are so right. A few times I posted something addressed specifically to CW. He NEVER answered me. Okay, maybe once. The fact that he (whomever he is) is saying “thank you” more frequently or indicating he is “running a back up just in case” was very telling.
And, the writing style in the main article on the threads lately do not fit his writing style.
It’s a weird weird atmosphere there now. This CC character bloviates a little too much for me, and the tone is most always condescending.
Orly is not the bumbling clown she makes herself out to be. I think that part of her is for show only. No, she knows what is going on as you so succinctly point out, JM.
JJ – without question the CW site has been bought out. Ask yourslef this one question. What happened to CW’s news blog? Then ask yourself why on earth would 30 to 40 regular long-time bloggers, you know the ones that catapulted his ratings to number one, be chased off of the blog AND the one that chased them off is left to obsess over his causes via repititon without a single “stop it” from CW. Nah, CW sold it and likely signed a clause stating he’d not say anything or start another blog for x amount of years. I hope he made some dough. The guy deserved it.

good morning. We discovered Kay Griggs’ interviews not long ago. We all loved her and were shocked at what she was revealing. We wondered if she was still around after all she exposed.
I remember a story earlier this year of former state Sen. Nancy Schaefer from Atlanta. She was wrapping up a self-funded documentary that “named names” and exposed a very high-level, child-pedophile ring. She and her husband were allegedly murdered. Since you follow this more closely than I, I wondered if you have heard of her, or know if anything else has come of her film? I feel surely she had to have left this information with other people.
No doubt it’s a difficult topic to read about and it’s even harder to ‘believe’ it really goes on at high levels, but I know that it does and it disgusts me.

Helen, I read your comments on CW’s and those of CC, whomever CC is. I ’bout gagged when I read an earlier post of him advising readers about what is a “credible” source of info, particularly on this BP disaster, and what isn’t. Top of his list was National Geographic Magazine. He plans to ‘teach’ his readers/posters which sources to use for accurate info so they don’t clutter up the site with disinfo. I’m telling you that site is clearly a gov’t op. site. And it’s very easy to tell. One thing that I find really really strange is the manner in which he uses his condescending ‘voice.’ It’s hard to describe. He tells you what you meant to say. He will give you a “gold star” (recognition) if you write something intelligent and thoughtful, then he’ll take it right back with some innocent sounding remark. It’s weird. He’s a bit of a braggart, too. A big braggart! He openly declares he is superior to other posters, even to the point of saying he doesn’t need thanks or recognition.
One thing is certain – it isn’t Wells.

where did you read about his dream? I must have missed that.
it was on yesterday’s one of two threads or maybe the day before. can’t remember. all i know, is that when i read it, i got a really creepy feeling about it and the queer direction he was insinuating he was going to take it in…he added TWINK to his post which is why I and others have used it.
The only useful information coming from CW’s at this point, is learning where they want to lead us- and running in the exact opposite direction. I believe CC and FS are working together- good cop, bad cop. Pretending to be at odds like Bush and Barky. The current signs are showing that Barky is going down, my concern is who is replacing him. In short, Barky has blown his wad and they need a new puppet to finish the job of screwing us. Sorry to be so rude, but no other words describe it more perfectly.
