Goddess Pelosi – craven, calculating and unconscionable!

Posted by helen

On February 26, 2010, The T-Room Opinion section lead with “Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth hold EXPLOSIVE Press Conference“.   Until we watched this press conference, researched numerous studies and reports, reviewed film footage, watched eyewitness accounts and read hundreds of articles and the official account of the 9/11 tragedy, The T-Room had never taken a position on whether it was an inside job aka a false flag event or happened the way the Bush/Cheney administration told us. Well, once one takes the time to research it all you will arrive at the same place we have.  Alfred Lambremont Webre, Seattle Examiner, certainly spoke for us in his April 4, 2010 article ”U.S Attorney or district attorney can prosecute Bush, Cheney & Rumsfelf for murder on 9/11“.

He stated the following:

In 2008, former Los Angeles assistant District Attorney and author Vincent Bugliosi presented the legal framework for the prosecution of former George W. Bush for murder in having intentionally misled the U.S. Congress in taking the U.S. to war in Iraq. This reporter, Alfred Lambremont Webre, has successfully presented the legal framework for the prosecution of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld for murder for having knowingly engaged in command and control operations in the false flag operation of 9/11 that intentionally led to the deaths of approximately 2830 innocent civilians and emergency responders at or around the World Trade Center.

In Memo to U.S. Congress: prima facie evidence that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld committed treason on 9/11, Examiner.com reported how a Memorandum to the U.S. Congress presented to then incoming Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, Rep. John Conyers, Jr. (D-Mich), following the November 2006 mid-term elections sets out prima facie evidence for the appointment of an independent prosecutor to prosecute then U.S. President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and numerous Jane and John Does for treason under Article III (3) of the U.S. Constitution for acts committed on September 11, 2001. (emphasis added)

Folks, it’s 2010 and nothing, nothing, nothing has been done by our elected Congressional representatives, Republican and/or Democrat, since Goddess Pelosi picked up the gavel to serve as Speaker of the House. Not one investigation has proceeded since 2006 to investigate the criminal cabal that made up the Executive Cabinet of the Bush Administration. Not one. Why? That’s all the D’s talked about leading up to the 2006 congressional takeover! Hello?  Goddess Pelosi vowed transparency and accountability. Why the silence, folks? Why aren’t Democrat’s holding their Party accountable? What’s wrong? Explain yourself. Why? Are you really that naive to believe the official government story? Nah. I didn’t think so.  You are far from being naive, you just don’t want to admit or face the fact that your dear leaders aren’t who you thought they were. They aren’t benevolent. They aren’t transparent. They aren’t loyal to you their precious voter.

Goddess Pelosi had the audacity to appear on ABC’s The View and declare on July 28, 2008 she “saw it as [her] my responsibility to try to bring a much divided country together to the exent that we could (who is “we”?). I [she] thought that impeachment would be divisive for the country…If somebody had a crime that the president had committed, that would be a different story.”  Who in the hell did she think she was kidding? You? Me? Joy? Did you see Whoopie’s face?

h/t democrats.com -- skip forward to the 5:45 mark to hear Pelosi’s response to Joy Behar’s impeachment question -

Wow! How benevolent. How forgiving. How kind. You’re so smart, Goddess Pelosi!  We bow before you and all of your wisdom. You are saving us from ourselves. NOT! NOT! NOT! EVER!

Our dear Speaker then had the temerity to muffle ANY AND ALL investigations responsible Democrat’s were spearheading up to 2007. David Lindorff, Baltimore Chronicle, wrote “Kucinich has a chance to make a historic move and stand out as a Presidential hopefulopinion piece that nailed it in 2007!

The mountain of evidence of this  [Bush] administration’s crimes against the Constitution, the Republic, and the People of the United States has been growing by the month, and Speaker Pelosi’s and the DNC’s position—that it is better to simply run out the clock to 2008 and let the administration continue to mess up—is looking increasingly craven, calculating and unconscionable.

Craving? Calculating? Unconscionable? You betcha

How about Kucinich’s House Resolution 1258

And the weak kneed fool did! He had the “goods”! No representative in their right mind would ever propose such a resolution IF he didn’t have evidence to support his claim. NONE. Kucinich isn’t stupid, but he swore his allegiance to the wrong Goddess. Why? Tell us Congressman Kucinich? Why’d you sell your soul? We the peasants want to know why? Do tell.

Next, the craven, calculating and unconscionable Goddess Pelosi did this -

After Democrats retook control of the House in 2007, Conyers ascended to chair of the Judiciary Committee and abided by Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) dictate that impeachment was “off the table” for President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. (Price, Deb, “Conyers in new political climate,” The Detroit News, Dec. 11, 2006(10)

ABIDED? HELLO??? Abided by Goddess Pelosi’s request to expunge years of investigation work into the criminal cabal of the Bush crime family? You’ve got to be kidding me. With all do respect, Sir, where in the hell are your testacles? What, you don’t have the balls to stand up to the Goddess? Better yet, protect your own damned integrity? Not buying it Congressman Conyers. Not buying.

So, why? What does Goddess Pelosi and her minority in the Democrat Corporation gain by stonewalling an independent investigation into 9/11 let alone an independent investigation into the sheer lies we the American people were fed day after day by the media puppets on pre emptively attacking Iraq? Think about it. What does Pelosi gain? What does the Democrat Corporation gain by remaining silent about the Bush cabal high crimes and misdemeanors? Why collude with the Republican’s in Congress? Why use your muscle to silence your own caucus members? hhhhmmmm

Answer: to extract silence from your opposition about something illegal you want to do. Let’s call it a “trade”. Goddess Pelosi keeps her caucus’ mouths shut about 9/11 and the Iraq/Afghanistan invasion AND the Republicans will keep their mouths shut about  ?????

Fascinating, I tell you…think about it.

To be continued…

Um, Helen, this wouldn’t have anything to do with AIPAC would it? Nah, didn’t think so.

WELL….MAYBE IT DOES HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH AIPAC – found this in Madsen’s archives dated 7/24/07

House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers yesterday ordered U.S. Capitol police to arrest 45 anti-war and pro-impeachment protesters for “disorderly conduct.” Among those arrested in Conyers’ office in the Rayburn House Office Building were Gold Star activist Cindy Sheehan and former CIA officer Ray McGovern. (WHAT? … & RAY MCGOVERN?)

Conyers urged the protesters to support the election of Democrats in 2008 rather than impeachment, a standard Democratic National Committee line urged by status quo enthusiasts like the Democratic Leadership Council and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Conyers stands on interesting ground in charging citizens with “disorderly conduct.” According to a colleague of Conyers, the long-serving congressman, who represents Highland Park, Hamtramck, and sections of Detroit and Dearborn, at one time regularly smoked marijuana in his House office, referring to the stash he kept in his desk drawer as “boo.”

Although he puts on the air of being a liberal progressive, Conyers is also tied to the agenda of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and other like-minded groups. Conyers has one of the largest Arab-American constituencies in his district and for that reason, AIPAC has painstakingly ensured that Conyers’ senior staff is composed of those who act as “firewalls” and “gatekeepers” against the potentially significant political influence of Arab-American groups in Michigan’s 14th congressional district.

Conyers’ actions yesterday in having anti-war activists arrested is in keeping with Conyers’ past “flaky” behavior this editor has personally noticed in covering Congressional affairs over the past 17 years.

    ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FROM WAYNE MADSEN:

It should be noted that Conyers, a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, did nothing to support two of its members who came under assault by AIPAC and their ilk: Georgia’s Cynthia McKinney and Alabama’s Earl Hilliard. Both were replaced by more docile representatives more to Conyers’ and AIPAC’s and the DLC’s liking: Hank Johnson and Artur Davis, respectively.

    Hi, all

More dirt from Madsen’s archives on Conyers, Bush, Cheney

August 29, 2007 — Another case of a Justice Department politically-motivated selective prosecution

House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, who has taken impeachment off the table, has close links to indicted Louisiana Representative William Jefferson, according to WMR’s congressional sources. (HMMMmmmm)

On June 28, 2007, WMR reported, “WMR has learned that House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-MI) received an unusual visit from the FBI yesterday morning. Although we have not determined the purpose of the 10 am meeting, it came on the same day that White House counsel Fred Fielding formally rejected subpoenas from Conyers and his Senate counterpart Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for documents concerning National Security Agency (NSA) surveillance of domestic communications.”

We have learned that Conyers’ close association with Jefferson was the primary topic of discussion of his meeting with the FBI. There is a strong possibility that Conyers was pressured to back off of impeachment or there would be a closer look by the Justice Department at his past dealings with Jefferson.

During a recent appearance in New Jersey, Conyers was so adamant against impeachment, he tripped himself up when answering a call for impeaching Bush and Cheney. He told the anti-war crowd to get him a New Jersey Democrat to support an impeachment bill. Conyers was then told that New Jersey Rep. Donald Payne had signed on to Dennis Kucinich’s bill to impeach Cheney. Conyers was unaware of that fact.

Conyers has clearly been compromised as House Judiciary chairman by his association with Jefferson. It is time for Speaker Nancy Pelosi to find another Judiciary Committee chairman before the committee loses any more relevance and clout.

here’s something you can try with your speeding ticket.

Ask to see the judge. Say to the judge, “May I ask a question, your honor?” He’ll say yes.

Then you say, “What type of court is this I’m in? Is it a Common Law Court, an Admirality Law Court, or an Equity Law Court.”

Based on the callers that called in to the show, the judge will pound his gavel and say case dismissed, and maybe a few other choice words…LOL

Who knew there are ONLY 3 types of courts.

I’m off and running again. Need to visit with Luke’s teacher, who he called communist yesterday. Here is the tale: Luke was out Thursday for his eye appointment, the class got in trouble and lost 15 minutes of recess. Luke questioned the teacher if he needed to stay in since he wasn’t even there. She said yes. He told her it was communist to do this. She asked for an explanation. He responded (you’re gonna love this): “If I misbehave, I lose recess, if I behave I lose recess, what reason do I have to behave. Everyone treated the same no matter what is communism.”

BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF STOLEN MONEY; Key Findings on the Wall Street Bank Bailout Tally

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=18473

I snipped a couple of them:

THE FEDERAL RESERVE HAS PLAYED THE PRIMARY ROLE IN THE BAILOUT

The Federal Reserve has provided by far the bulk of the funding for the bailout in the form of loans — $3.8 trillion in total. Little information has been disclosed about what collateral taxpayers have received in return for many of these loans.

Bloomberg News is suing the Federal Reserve to make this information public. On March 19, 2010, Bloomberg won its suit in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, but it is not clear if this case will continue to be litigated to the Supreme Court.

THE BAILOUT IS FAR FROM OVER (this will p$ss you off)

All together, $4.6 trillion of taxpayer funds have been disbursed in our tally of the Wall Street Bailout. Of that, about $2 trillion remains outstanding. Many of these programs have “buy and hold” strategies with securities that have maturities of up to 30 years.

The Federal Reserve in particular is likely to continue holding more than a trillion in these troubled assets for years to come with UNKNOWN consequences for taxpayers. (emphasis mine)

ANOTHER FALLEN FOX FAUX ? – Sean Hannity – You decide.

According to its 2006 tax returns, Freedom Alliance reported revenue of $10, 822, 785, but only $397,900–or a beyond-measly 3.68%–of that was given to the children of fallen troops as scholarships or as aid to severely injured soldiers.

On the other hand, 62% of the money went to “expenses,” including $979,485 for “consultants” and an “advisor.” Yes, consultant/advisors got more than double what injured troops and the kids of fallen troops got. The tax forms show that “New World Aviation” got paid $60,601 for “air travel.” Was that for Hannity’s G5? Like I said, neither the charity nor Hannity is talking. And finally, that year, Freedom Alliance spent $1,730,816 on postage and shipping and $1,414,215 on printing, for a total of $3,145,031, nearly half the revenue the charity spent that year and about eight times what the injured troops and the children of fallen ones received.

    EXAMPLES:

In 2006, Freedom Alliance gave only $1,000 to a soldier from Bay City, Michigan, whom the charity says was in the following condition:
Face was blown up and lost sight in one eye.

And that $1,000 was relatively generous, when you consider this soldier from Romulus, Michigan, whom Freedom Alliance only gave $200:
SM [serviceman] was involved in roadside bomb incident in Iraq, which caused loss of both legs and left arm.

More of this heartbreaking sucker patriot news here:

Bringing this over. Teacher was “unable to meet” today BUT Luke never stayed in for recess either- I’ll take it.

    CRB // April 7, 2010 at 3:05 pm

Don, I’ve brought this up many times on CW’s Blog.

I’m a cleared TS/SSBI/CNWDI individual, Lifestyle/Full Scope Poly, and SCI/SAP access in the areas I have a demonstrated “Need to Know” about. My background has to, by law, be re-investigated and updated every 5 years in order to maintain this Clearance level. I’m sure you know what a pain in the butt such a clearance level initials, being former USAF OSI on your part.

My job title is not classified, so I can tell you the reason for such cravats on my credentials
is because I’m a WMD Intelligence Analyst who happens to specialize in Nuclear Weapons.

The truth of the matter that most of the General Public do not understand or know about is; Politicians are simply given clearances; no questions asked, and without investigation upon taking their oath to office. It is AUTOMATIC, and comes with the elected position.

The fact of the matter is most of the politicians of this nation could not qualify for a real Security Clearance of any level if they tried, much less pass a Lifestyle/Full Scope Polygraph. However when they are elected to office, they are granted Clearances automatically upon taking their Oath of office.

They are not investigated, their backgrounds are not checked, much less their fiscal responsibility looked into in the way of simple credit scores and checks. They are not required to submit to random drug testing like the rest of the American Citizenry, whom happen to work for the Government and/or Government Contractors. They are not required to take a polygraph of any level. They are simply granted such National Security Access because the “We the People” were foolish enough to give them our votes.

The reason this is: According to every investigative and intelligence authority responsible for maintaining and clearing individuals for National Security access states (and I summarize): Due to the fact any individual running for public office is intensively vetted by the public. It is not within our investigative powers to usurp the will of the American People in the way that majority has voted for any Public Official.

It got really old watching all those guys hawk their books, coffee mugs, t-shirts and tours the last 15 minutes of every show. Add in all the commercial spots, which were a lot because these are high dollar guys and that means LOTS of ad buys, along with the incestuous interviewing each other on their shows – that left little time for real news. Of course, there was no real news. It was entertainment. And, it would just trickle down to the last man standing, which happened to be a woman – Gretta. It was a waste of an entire evening. OF COURSE……as they should.

FAMILIES OF IRAQI VICTIMS DEMAND JUSTICE

The families of Iraqi civilians who has been shown in a leaked video being shot and killed by a US military helicopter in 2007, have demanded justice.

The shocking footage that released by WikiLeaks website earlier this week, shows US military helicopters shooting a group of Iraqis, killing 12 civilians, including two employees of the Reuters news agency, on a Baghdad square in 2007.

The Pentagon confirmed the authenticity of the video, but said that two investigations into the incident cleared the aircrew of any wrongdoing.

The victims’ families, however, want the US military personnel responsible for the killings to be taken to court.

Well, it is now official – IRAN HAS DECLARED THAT IT WILL STRIKE U.S. TROOPS IF ATTACKED:

“If America presents Iran with a serious threat and undertakes any measure against Iran, none of the American soldiers who are currently in the region would go back to America alive,” Major General Hassan Firouzabadi was quoted as saying by the semi-official Fars news agency.

His comments intensified hostile rhetoric in a week when U.S. President Barack Obama excluded Iran from a new policy restricting the use of U.S. nuclear weapons.

Obama is urging U.N. Security Council members to back new sanctions in the coming weeks to pressure Iran to curb a nuclear program which the West fears could lead it to make nuclear weapons.

Iran has also repeatedly warned Israel — which has hinted it could use military strikes against Iran’s nuclear activities — that it would respond militarily to any attack.

Pressure on Iran could increase next week when Obama will host a summit on nuclear security to be attended by the leaders of China and Russia — the two Security Council veto holders he has been courting to support new U.N. sanctions.

MORE LIES AND DECEPTION – DRILL, BABY, DRILL

    RegulationReality.com

President Obama announced that he will “allow” oil drilling off the coast of Virginia. AFP Vice President for Policy Phil Kerpen issued the following statement:

“Obama is talking about lifting a nonexistent ban! Bush lifted the executive ban in July 2008, and Congress lifted the legislative ban in October 2008. There is no legal impediment to drilling now, except that the Obama administration refuses to offer leases. So the idea that this is a big concession in exchange for which Congress should jumpstart climate legislation is ridiculous. I’ll believe they are really allowing drilling when they actually offer leases. Also, the 50-mile restriction means he is actually ADDING a NEW moratorium on waters inside of 50 miles.”

ACTION ALERT – CAP & TRADE

Don’t Use Climate Change to Hide Tax Hikes!
Congress is debating the largest tax increase in history, the cap-and-trade energy tax.

Cap-and-trade is a tax on coal, oil, and natural gas but instead of being a specific tax rate, the total level of use is capped and companies are forced to pay the government for emissions permits. They bid against each other to stay in business, and nobody knows how much the tax will be until they hold the auctions.

It’s a crazy, unpredictable tax, but it’s certainly a tax.

There is one simple way to put members of Congress on record and figure out if this is about the environmental or just an excuse for a big tax increase:

TAKE ACTION AT THIS LINK – Pre-populated email to fill out and send to your representatives and ask them to sign the pledge.

    HELEN, CHECK THIS OUT

just reading this email I receive regularly from a grassroots organization American’s for Prosperity and clicked on this link NTU – National Taxpayers Union. Never heard of it.

I clicked on my state and as I began reading I thought of your encounter at the Virginia budget meeting. Maybe this group has something going on in your state like what I’m reading about my state – called GOOGLE GOVERNMENT.

    Article begins:
    — By recently enacting a bill to open government spending to public scrutiny through the Internet, the State Legislature and Governor Rick Perry have made Texas the fourth state to embrace “Google Government” — a move that drew praise from the National Taxpayers Union (NTU). The non-partisan citizen group, which has 362,000 members nationwide and nearly 23,000 members in Texas, has been advocating “spending transparency” on the federal and state level for several years….

If this is the real deal, then this sounds fabulous. There’s a couple of other interesting sounding links at the end of the article shown at this link

    HUMOR BREAK –

    HARRY REID BUYS A CAR

Sen. Reid goes to a local GM dealer in Washington , D.C. with the intention of buying a brand new vehicle. Harry looks around and finds one he likes. After going back and forth with the salesman, Harry settles on a price of $45,000.

Harry and the salesman go back to the office to complete the paperwork. Harry works out a 4-year payment plan, and signs on the bottom line. The salesman shakes Harry’s hand and says, “Thanks Senator Reid, the car will be ready for pickup in 4 years.”

Harry says, “What are you talking about? Where are the keys to my new car?”

The salesman replies, “No, you don’t understand Senator. You make payments for 4 years… THEN we give you the car. You know, just like your health plan”.

Harry, with a choking voice, says to the salesman, “But that’s not fair”.

And I say without any doubt or embarrassment:

    NO S__T!

Get with the program Harry !!!!!!!!!!

    Prairie,

I was skimming CW’s site, saw the Palin pushers at it again. One step forward and two steps back.

Asking for proof? WTH? They are spewing what the controlled media has put out there about Palin. They would do good to subscribe to a site such as Madsen’s and cut off their cable. For pennies a day you can get some real journalism.

Here is just one of many articles from Madsen’s archives about Ms. Palin. I’ve written about her before here. ANYONE that is being paraded in front of us right now should be suspect!! That’s how simple it is. Where is OUR chosen candidate? It’s hard to read such arguments that are based on controlled media and well organized and financed marketing campaigns. When I read this my mind immediately jumped to Bill Ayers and his wife, Dorhn.

October 3-5, 2008 — McClellan on her mind

Alaska Governor and John McCain running mate Sarah Palin confused U.S. Afghanistan commander General David McKiernan with General George McClellan, the general of the Union Army during the Civil War, in her debate with Senator Joe Biden.

Palin can be excused for bringing up the name of a Civil War general in the debate. WMR has reported on Palin’s connections with the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) and its links to the Confederacy restoration movement, the League of the South. Palin’s slip was understandable considering her long association with the AIP, which has drawn those who want an “Aryan” homeland in Alaska, and the neo-Confederate movement. Palin has referred to Alaska’s Native Inuit and Aleut peoples as “mukluks” and “Arctic Arabs.”

On September 10, 2008, WMR reported: “The AIP is part of a network of extreme right-wing secessionists around the country, many of whom are linked to white supremacist causes. In 2006, the AIP participated in the first North American Secessionist Convention in Burlington, Vermont. Also attracted to the convention were a number of Southern secessionist movements, including the League of the South; the Southern Caucus; the Southern National Congress; and Christian Exodus, which advocates the secession of South Carolina as an independent republic governed by the Ten Commandments as the foundation of law.”

Palin’s and her husband’s Todd’s connections to the AIP are all the more worrisome when it is pointed out that the AIP’s founder, Joe Vogler, who ran for governor of Alaska in 1986. Vogler’s running mate was Al Rowe, a former Alaska state trooper. Vogler disappeared in 1993 after he attempted to buy plastic explosives. Vogler’s remains were discovered in a gravel pit near Fairbanks in 1994. A petty criminal identified himself as Vogler’s murderer in a very mysterious case.

When Sarah and Todd Palin’s dalliance with the AIP was made public, the McCain campaign denied any links. The files of the Alaska State Police still contain details of the Vogler murder and the abortive plastic explosives deal. The swiftness of Governor Palin’s and her husband’s desire to purge their ex-brother-in-law Mike Wooten and Alaska Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan from the ranks of the Alaska state troopers may have more to do with getting them away from files on the criminal activities of the AIP, something that could embarrass Palin and sink her vice presidential nomination. It would not look good for the anti-terrorism McCain campaign to have on its ticket someone who may have had something to do with an Alaskan independence leader trying to buy plastic explosives.

However, Vogler was the rule rather than the exception with radical right groups. Such groups have used bombs to terrorize abortion clinics, African American communities, Democratic judges in the South, and even the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Here’s more on Palin from Madsen’s archives: Hate to say it, but the more I read the more I think she might have been talking about herself when she uttered the phrase, “putting lipstick on a pig.” Hmmm…

WMR has learned from informed sources in Washington, DC who have tracked for a number of years the activities of the Confederacy restoration movement, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and white supremacist organizations that key players in a number of these groups are actively advising and financing the campaign of GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, the Governor of Alaska.

Many observers have pointed out that McCain’s campaign and the GOP somehow failed to properly vet Palin’s involvement in various scandals as both mayor of Wasilla, Alaska and in year barely two years as Governor of Alaska. However, it is precisely because of Palin’s links to extreme right-wing organizations and neo-Confederates that she was chosen as McCain’s running mate. The Republicans have so perfected the theft of elections, having engineered presidential election victories in 2000 and 2004 and congressional and statehouse wins in 2002 and 2004, and suppression of Democratic victories in 2006, they are confident that they will the best chance of seeing a Ku Klux Klan- and white supremacist-backed politician get into the White House since William McAdoo, the Klan’s candidate, was almost nominated for President on the Democratic ticket in 1924.

The GOP is so confident of their ability to affect election results they have decided to keep Palin away from the media and only produce her during well-scripted and tightly-controlled campaign events.

Palin’s and her husband’s dalliances with the Alaska Independence Party (AIP), which advocates the secession of Alaska from the United States is the tip of a web of organizations that count among their membership extreme right-wing elements, many of whom also participate in Republican Party candidate selection and the lobbying of Republican members of Congress on behalf of Big Tobacco, Big Mining, Big Agra, and the small arms and defense industry clients.

The AIP is part of a network of extreme right-wing secessionists around the country, many of whom are linked to white supremacist causes. In 2006, the AIP participated in the first North American Secessionist Convention in Burlington, Vermont. Also attracted to the convention were a number of Southern secessionist movements, including the League of the South; the Southern Caucus; the Southern National Congress; and Christian Exodus, which advocates the secession of South Carolina as an independent republic governed by the Ten Commandments as the foundation of law.

The various Southern secessionist groups are part of a wider web of organizations that push the neo-Confederate line, including the Southern Legal Resources Center (SLRC); Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) (which has a camp named after President Abraham Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth); United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC); Order of Confederate Rose; organizations that honor Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest, the founder of the Ku Klux Klan; and various Southern Parties in states such as North Carolina and Georgia. The Southern Party wants to re-establish the Confederacy of the original 11 states plus Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Maryland. The League of the South publishes a secessionist magazine, “Southern Patriot.”

The AIP’s web site has links to its like-minded allies, including the Southern Party of Tennessee; the Southern Party of North Carolina; the League of the South,;the Texas Nationalist Movement; SCV; UDC; an anti-Hugo Chavez secessionist movement in Venezuela’s oil-rich Zulia State; a Western Canadian secessionist movement; a Waco, Texas museum honoring the Branch Davidian members killed in a 1993 siege involving federal officers; and even a secessionist movement in Palin’s running mate’s state of Arizona.

The AIP has also established links with a secessionist movement that would have Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden contend with the loss of his state of Delaware and become a citizen of the new state of Delmarva, comprising Delaware, the eastern shore of Maryland, and peninsular Virginia.

The SLRC has been identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a neo-Confederate organization. The SLRC was founded by Kirk Lyons, who defended Tom Metzger and members of the Aryan Nations. Metzger, an Aryan Nations leader, founded in 1980 the California Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

The leadership of this network of neo-Confederates and Klansmen largely operates out of Washington, DC and Alexandria, Virginia, and are integral to the Republican Party and, according to John Edward Hurley, the president of the non-partisan Confederate Memorial Association and former colleague of long-time White House correspondent Sarah McLendon, consults regularly with Karl Rove, the chief GOP political dirty tricks operative who has become a silent adviser to the John McCain/Palin campaign.

It is Rove’s plan to turn the 2008 election into one that features race baiting on the same scale that “Swiftboating” was used against Senator John Kerry in 2004. It was no mistake when Representative Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) used the term “uppity” to describe Barack Obama and Representative Geoff Davis (R-KY) referred to Obama as “boy.” Both terms were calculated and will be followed by increased racial vitriol by Republicans across the country as the election nears.

The network of Klan and Southern secessionist organizations are active on the Internet and sell a variety of Southern memorabilia. When Oklahoma City Murrah Federal Building bomber Timothy McVeigh was arrested after the terrorist attack, he was sporting a T-shirt bought from one of the Southern secessionist websites: a shirt with a drawing Abraham Lincoln and the Latin phrase “sic semper tyrannis” [thus ever to tyrants], the phrase shouted by Booth at Ford’s Theater after he shot Lincoln. Booth is a hero to the right-wing network that has warmly accepted the AIP, much admired by the Palins, into their ranks.

Groups like the League of the South share Palin’s disdain for public education and “Christian identity.” The League has been designated a hate group by the SPLC which has pointed out that the League has reinvented itself as a “respectable” organization even though some of its members refer to African Americans as “negroes” and reject interracial marriage. It therefore comes as no surprise that the Southern secessionists, neo-Confederates, Klan, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists are rallying behind the candidacies of McCain, whose family is descendant from slave owners in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Palin, who has been quoted by an Alaska diner waitress as having used the racist term “Sambo” in reference to Barack Obama and “mukluks” and “Arctic Arabs” for he Inuit and Aleut native Americans in Alaska.

Former Alaska Democratic Senator and presidential candidate Mike Gravel said that Palin’s right-wing ties should come as no surprise. Gravel said Wasilla is a well-known center for the Christian fundamentalist and “Christian Identity” movements and has been for quite some time. Palin is a product of that environment, said Gravel.

And its not just African Americans and Native Americans who have to fear a resurgent neo-Confederacy and Klan in the guise of Palin’s candidacy. In 1980, running as a Democrat and while leader of the Klan, Metzger won the Democratic nomination for Congress in San Diego, amassing 32,000 votes. The Democratic Party disavowed the candidacy that was only successful due to anti-Hispanic attitudes in the San Diego area’s 43rd congressional district. Metzger was also active in the American Independent Party, which shares the “AIP” acronym with Palin’s Alaska Independence Party.

For the AIP and its network of fellow travelers in the South and within the top racist echelons of the Republican Party, the McCain/Palin ticket represents a culmination of the worst part of the candidacies of 1964 GOP presidential nominee Barry Goldwater, 1968 independent presidential candidate George Wallace, and 1948 Dixiecrat candidate Strom Thurmond. Goldwater and Wallace later renounced their previous attraction to segregationist causes, Goldwater becoming a voice of moderation in the Senate and Wallace transforming into a Democratic Alabama Governor of “New South” principles.

However, McCain and Palin have taken up the segregationist and racist mantle of the GOP’s old “Southern Strategy” and Rove and his far-right operatives are planning on turning the 2008 presidential campaign into one that will use race baiting to divide and conquer the American electorate with the mixing in of Rove’s well-worn election fraud and vote and poll engineering to bring about another stolen presidential election. Many of the secessionist racists that are rallying to the McCain/Palin ticket have long embraced the teaching of one William L. Pierce, an American Nazi who in 1978 wrote the neo-Nazi American version of “Mein Kampf,” “The Turner Diaries,” using the pseudonym Andrew Macdonald. The aficionados of “The Turner Diaries” read such descriptions of mixed race people as “octoroon’s,” “quadroons,” and mongrels. The book was a favorite of Murrah bomber McVeigh. There is little wonder why the mere idea of a mixed race President of the United States has these racists coming from under their rocks and out of their swamps to sing the praises of a white power heroine like Sarah Palin.

TIME TO BRING THE BOYS HOME!

We’re starting to see and hear responses from the military. I hear a couple of callers today on Internet talk shows. You can tell they are anxious for an outlet of any means to tell what is going on because they know it is wrong. It seems to be in response to the WikiLeaks video released earlier this week.

Here is an article that confirms what we saw with our own eyes. I encourage you to read it.

IRAQ WAR VET: “WE WERE TOLD TO JUST SHOOT PEOPLE, AND THE OFFICERS WOULD TAKE CARE OF US.”

On Monday, April 5, Wikileaks.org posted video footage from Iraq, taken from a US military Apache helicopter in July 2007 as soldiers aboard it killed 12 people and wounded two children. The dead included two employees of the Reuters news agency: photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen and driver Saeed Chmagh.

The US military confirmed the authenticity of the video.

The footage clearly shows an unprovoked slaughter, and is shocking to watch whilst listening to the casual conversation of the soldiers in the background.

As disturbing as the video is, this type of behavior by US soldiers in Iraq is not uncommon.

Truthout has spoken with several soldiers who shared equally horrific stories of the slaughtering of innocent Iraqis by US occupation forces.

ROFLMAO! A lot of people bought pet rocks. With your psychology background you know what goes into advertising campaigns. It’s nothing but psyche warfare and deception. O’s campaign is the most glaring example of this.

The deception is buried in the 7 point type (that means you can’t read it with the naked eye) known as “the legal” or terms and condtions or disclaimers.

I learned you ALWAYS look for the asterisk. If it’s in the headline of an offer, you can forget it! The legal text will always undermine the offer. I read the fine print FIRST on everything. The lawyers would say, “just bury it in the legal.” Oh yes, lawyers are on retainer and help write the copy.

from article above on Iraq soldiers – one soldier’s account

Truthout has spoken with several soldiers who shared equally horrific stories of the slaughtering of innocent Iraqis by US occupation forces.

“I remember one woman walking by,” said Jason Washburn, a corporal in the US Marines who served three tours in Iraq. He told the audience at the Winter Soldier hearings that took place March 13-16, 2008, in Silver Spring, Maryland, “She was carrying a huge bag, and she looked like she was heading toward us, so we lit her up with the Mark 19, which is an automatic grenade launcher, and when the dust settled, we realized that the bag was full of groceries. She had been trying to bring us food and we blew her to pieces.”

Before I would just say I don’t like the violence. Now I see the intentional conditioning of our society in all it’s ugliness.

    Prairie,

may want to check out youtube, too with your search on Palin. I just watched a video about the church she attends in Wasilla. This guy said in the interview she may have the same issue that O had with his pastor. Evidently the pastor made a remark about Israel. This may well explain why she went out of her way to have an Israeli flag in her office and a lapel pin.

She acts as a “gate keeper” on many issues on CW’s site thus putting a stop with her verbal abuse of any kind of debate or healthy discussion- further supports my JS is CW theory-no?

    Prairie,

    here’s ya go -

When we criticize Sarah Palin, her lack of qualifications and her checkered past as a politician, we do so neither as Republicans, nor as Democrats.
    We do so as Americans
